maybe she is bipolar? or needs some type of medication to help her deal with her demons. I know people who just cant be nice if their life depended on it. If she is older and likes to gossip thats a sign of her upbringing. Sometimes people want to get mixed in others business because their life is so dull and boring. I'd call her out on it.
