Beautiful Pittsfield home to robberies, murders, robberies, mayhem, robberies, gangs, robberies, guns, robberies, drugs, robberies, thugs, robberies, robberies, robberies, robberies, robberies, bank hold ups, stick ups, robberies, stabbings, gangs, guns, drugs, thugs, and third Thursdays and new this year first Fridays. Did I mention the robberies? Oh, and new sidewalks, so you can at least try to run away from being robbed or stabbed without concern of tripping, except over the many protruding obstacles.

This sounds more like an ongoing feud than random violence. I don't think the Eagle has all the facts here.

No place is perfect, police can't crystal ball everything and catch it before it happens. To me it's what is done after the fact. You can't prevent all crime (anyone who thinks so is quite out of touch). It's certainly not a nice feeling that this stuff is happening here but at least you're safe in Hinsdale so no need to sweat it! Seriously, it is concerning, and unfortunate when Pittsfield gets labeled like this because of such nonsense. Hopefully it'll be handled well now that the players are corralled.

From what the people in the car said it does lead one to believe that the attacker knew the kid on the bike enough to ask the driver to stop so he could get out and attack. Or, it was just some asshole being a dirtbag for no apparent reason. Which is a scarier thought to me.

Daily Horoscope for May 22

Gemini

Beware wishful thinking because it will cloud your thoughts and lead to confusion. However, that's much easier said than done, because today you're showing distinct tendencies towards living in a rosy world of your own and ignoring any hard facts that are under your nose. Take care that you don't allow someone to dupe you simply because you aren't paying attention to what they're saying or doing.
