Who start looking for a new job? I guess you mean the sheriff. If Brackett does win all his buddies at the CCSD are safe and secure in knowing they have job security!

Wow! And here I thought Brackett considered the sheriff to be a friend! I think Brackett may want to rethink his belief that he has a lot of "friends" at the CCSD.

I think it's safe to say that his intention is to be Sheriff. I guess it makes it much easier to obtain that goal by making false accusations against the current administration. Since he is already affiliated with the current CCSD administration he may be hoping to distance himself from them.

I haven't heard Chris say anything against anyone at the department with the exception of a couple of people. To be honest, it is the same couple that everyone in LE and town are talking about already.
And by the way, he doesn't need to do anything to win the election but show up. I have to say that your weak attempts to discredit him and scare current employees is just what everyone expects from people like you.

I think he has what it takes.
He could get ALOT of votes from the younger people of Lenoir.
He is the type to clean up Lenoir,get the job done and be fair at the same time.

I agree with you, I like him and anytime me or my family ever needed help from the sheriff's office we called Chris and he always tried to help. He is very nice and an honest young man.

Yes,and he has earned my respect,because he gives the same in return.
Nothing worse than really needing the help of the law,and they send some cocky smartass cop on a power trip.
Chris will do really well,he listens to both sides of the story first,instead of making you feel like a criminal from the start.

You think Brackett would make a great sheriff? Tell us why. I would hope that the people in the community would expect more from him than his just showing up. I for one hope that isn't his platform. This is his chance to change the tone of previous elections. The forum is yours, tell us why you think he is the best choice and what his plans are for the community. i have known chris a long time he has the experance was in the army and has put in his time to do the job well

I would vote for Chris because if he tells you he will do something he does it. If he doesn't know the answer to something he finds out the answer rather than making something up. He came to a community meeting with the former Sheriff Clark and helped a few residents with problems. He was very professional, sincere, and I have no reason not to vote for him if he runs for Sheriff. I am sure Sheriff Jonnes is a nice guy too, but I don't know of anything he has done.
