was in for breakfast and what i got was full of butter. Our waitress was nice and offered to fix another plate. I told her i could eat it but wanted them to know.Well then the lady came out of kitchen and told us you couldnt cook without butter or oil. I was more than a little upset!! The food dont have to be floating in oil and i dont have to be belittled!!! I paid for the food but will not be back.

What do you like in a waitress? The waitress says alot about the buisness. Myself i like a pleasant greeting. I do not like tight pants pulling up everywhere or showing the backside every time they move.A natural makeup look and could do without the over board of tatoos. So tell me what kind of place is this? of day seems nice of night all most has a bar feel.?????????

Ok so sounds like to me that whats ups man must have paying attention to the waitress instead of her! Lol As far as the girl with the tattoos it doesnt make her a bad person cause she likes body art and before u decide to talk so negatively about them u might want to learn how to spell it! You need to take a look in the mirror and judge the food and the service not the way someone looks. Everyone has their own opinion but its no ones place to judge someone on the way they look so for this person I will keep u in my prayers!:)

Everyone makes mistakes starting out and has to get the feel of things so give them a chance. Negativity and judging isnt the answer. For the comment about tattoos, I'm an artist and all it is is art. If you haven't been then try it out :) Nice people and good food what more you want?:)

What's Up was asking what we liked in a waitress, and expressed what he or she liked. It wasn't said that a girl with tattoos is a bad person, nor was it negative talking, and it definitely wasn't judging anyone....just an opinion. Frankly, tattoos look unclean to me also, especially around food. That doesn't mean that I'm judging the kind of person they are...just wondering, as they serve my food, what they've been exposed to when getting those tattoos. "Art" is in the eye of the beholder, so to each his own, but it looks as if What's Up could be the one who's been mis"judged."

Let me say this about tattoos..I think what "whats up" may be trying to say or at least what I would be saying is, in a business that is just starting up you get one chance to make a first impression.
Furthermore, whether its right or wrong, people (in general) make a judgement of liking/trusting you within the first 30 seconds of meeting you and A restaurants first contact is usually a greeter, then the waitress. It would be a wise business decision for these people to be presentable from this standpoint. This is in no way judging ANYONE just stating this from a business owners perspective. What people tend to forget is that in the food business the waitress "IS" the face of that business to her/his table guests, not the food. There are someplaces that have "great" food but I wont go because the service is terrible, and there are some places that I go frequently that have "good enough" food but the service is excellent.
Just sayin

Went the other night and they were out of the daily special at 5:30. It would have been nice to have that option. It was country style steak that night as my sister had called earlier to inquire. I think they need to have enough to cover lunch and supper if they are going to do the specials. Most of the other choices were salads or sandwiches.

Only here would people even see a person with tattoos and think they are bad or nasty or some other garbage. Hope the girl doesn't lose her job because of retards on here. We already know the owners read this garbage as they have tried to comment and act like other people.

Does anyone realize it's incredibly sexist to talk about "what you like in a waitress"? For heaven's sake.

I am so glad people like you are becoming less and less with each passing year, just not fast enough though. My wife has several tattoos oh btw she also has a PhD, is a devoted loving mother and wife with a well paying career. I have several myself and have served my country and also do well in my own career. I suppose we are unclean garbage though, what have you done with your life?

In your small mind I guess just because I have a Semper Fidelis tattoo on my arm that I wasn't fit to to put my life on the line so you could sit at home on your ass and complain about all the things you don't like. Get a damn clue prudes like you are a dying breed and there is life outside the sterile room you choose to lock yourself behind! I'm sorry that this is what you derive from what I wrote. Now you have made the assumption that I have a small mind, sit around complaining about things I don't like, and lock myself in a sterile room, simply because I shared a quirk that I have.(You have no quirks???) That's a pretty hefty leap, going from a waitress serving food to putting your life on the line and making judgments of someone you don't even know. Do you think that's the best way to demonstrate that people with tattoos are really very nice and reasonable people?

So am I correct in understanding that you, as a tattooed person, are glad that "people like me" are dying off each year and wish it would happen faster? Nice. I'm happy for all of your wife's credentials, and your career success, but must confess a failure to understand how, with all that intelligence at work, that you perceive that I consider you, or ANYONE unclean garbage, simply because I mentioned a personal quirk I have re: tattoos and food in close contact with one another. That's quite a jump! Surely you are aware that not all tattoos are done in the best or cleanest environment. And yes, I have lost a friend to hepatitis, and he deeply regretted his tattooing stage. From all the incorrect conclusions I see here, and the quick judgments made from a simple statement, I'm inclined to wonder even more so, just what IS in that ink, and what effect does it have on people?:)

MAG-29 wrote: <quoted text> If this person is this prejudice of people with tattoos I wonder what they do when they encounter a black or hispanic person? I think it's safe to say that they lock their doors or cross the street to get on the other sidewalk all the while assuring themself that they are far superior to them. LOL! I have a thought about the environment of the tattoo "art" and my food, and that makes me prejudiced toward people with tattoos, blacks, and hispanics???? It means that I lock my doors and cross the street to avoid them, considering myself superior??? Did I really read that???? I must tell my own tattooed daughters that I can no longer associate with them. Yep, must be the ink. LOL! Sorry, I really don't want to be a smart aleck, but this is so off, that we need to laugh about it and go on.

MAG-29 wrote: <quoted text> You are the one that brought your prejudice and your judgemental attitude to light here not me or the other poster. It's a fair assumption that your judgements and prejudice isn't limited to only one thing. I wish you no harm but you have to realize that when you make disparaging comments about someone or a group of peoples cleanliness when you have no real idea if what you are saying is true or not that you are the one that has labeled yourself as judgemental and prejudiced, I find it really funny that it upsets you so much when others do the same and judge you with limited firsthand knowledge of what you really stand for. You can keep trying to deflect all you want but in the end if the shoe fits you have wear it. It's all in the perception and it's clear that you are going to think what you want to think whether it's true or not. Your choice. My post is still here, so anyone can determine for him/herself if you are correct in your ASSUMPTION of prejudice and judgements. If reading it carefully, anyone can see that no disparaging comments were made about someone's PERSONAL cleanliness, but the POSSIBLE conditions in which the tattooing took place. What makes you think I'm upset? I assure you that that is yet another ASSUMPTION that YOU have made. I'm not the least bit upset, nor do I feel a need to "deflect" anything here. I know what my feelings are, and the only one I care to impress knows the truth of my innermost thoughts and feelings, and that's what is important to me. So, think what you like, and continue to find it funny that you think I'm upset which, by the way, is what people usually say when they themselves are feeling a bit superior.:)
