Greer Laboratories

I do know that at least 7 people in micro have quit and found better employment in the past year.I do not work in that department and I am also planning on leaving Greer.They and myself have college degrees and I work with a lot of people there that are intelligent but only have a h.s. diploma .They could do so much better if they went back to scholl.I'm not here to get people mad ,I'm just voicing my opinion ,and hopefully I'll find better employment myself.

No not at all other than my irony nerve. I dont work at Greer or know anything about it, dont care to either. I hate to admit it Greer does suck.I've been there a while now and used to think very positive .My attitude has changed greatly ,tired ot being lied to and disrespected .I kept thinking things might change but they haven't ,they have just gotten worse .I am surprised on a few people they have hired.I think it's a shame that the people that have a doctorate or have been there a while are not in charge .The ones they have kept on as managers of departments are cowards and do not speak up for there employees ,the only thing there worried about is sucking up to upper management .It's a shame I really used to enjoy working there and getting the job done .I guess it's time to find something else.

Everyone is entitled to freedom of speech. It is what makes this great nation, such a great nation. One thing i noticed in all the comments and opinions is the people who like Greer, state their opinions. The people who dislike Greer stoop to name calling and trying to degrade people by name. Might i remind you that part of "Freedom of Speech" means, Everyone shall have the right to hold opinions without interference. It also goes on to say, in Atricle 19, That if you choose to exercise the right to freedom of speech, it carries special duties and responsibilities and may therefore be subject to certain restrictions. The restrictions include that your freedom of speech can not affect another persons rights, or their reputation. Freedom of speech does not mean degrading people on a public forum. It does not mean slamming people who simply do not agree with your opinion. I love the fact that we can all give our opinions. Lets all try to do the right thing and give our opinions the way our four father's meant it to be.

i would also like to add, that not EVERYONE who dislikes Greer choose to name call or slam someone. It was just a choosen few

Been @GL awhile.Seen things and people come and go and actually I would have to agree and disagree with alot of the comments. Seen things happen , unfairness, jerk people around. but @ the end of the day it pays the bills.

Really?? Greer pays good wages if you consider wages barely above the poverty line good. If this company was in Charlotte you'd be making 10 grand more a year. Anyone who thinks Greer pays good evidently has never had a good paying job. Seriously i think stocking your local grocery store would pay more. Greer is making a fortune on the backs of its low salaried employees. Wake up people!!!!!

I agree,the empoyees are treated unfairly also.

To put it simply,greer sucks.

Got people taking things and driving the pay down.Smartasses, no team players.They love smartasses,don't matter if they do their job or not.Some should be in jail.

I can't believe a company like Greer would even consider hiring some of the people that post on this site. Therefore most do not have a clue about work at the lab.

I look at it this way. I fall in the category of being jerked around and failed promises but there is one thing. I am who I am and I will not kiss no ones ass and upper management and people who know me knows that all too well and if Greer doesnt want me there then so be it but I will not keep my mouth shut when it comes to what I feel. The pay could be better I agree but there are some good people that do work there, that will stand up for whats right whether everyone sees it or not.

I tend to agree with Unc Mom. The ratio of hard workers to deadbeats is 60/40 at best. While the slackers get all the praise, the good workers are frowned upon. Working hard at Greer will get you nowhere while shining the bosses shoes will get you out of work. Its really unreal the amount of low self esteemed deadbeats that work at Greer. That says alot about management. Low lifes will gravitate and relate to other low lifes. The Greer pets know who and what they are, the very ones who post praise for Greer on this site. Thats okay though, at the end of the day I walk with my head high while the Greer pets wipe their bosses ass. Not to mention the low pay, witch will naturally attract your less productive supervisors and employees.
