Does anyone know what's going on there?
It seems the "For Sale" signs were taken down... |

I think they need a new cook. The wait staff is so freaking slow, cause the cook can't get the dang orders ready quick! |

A gyro is a dish of meat roasted on a vertical spit, generally served as a sandwich, also called gyros, with tomato, onion, and tzatziki sauce, wrapped in pita bread.

Don't underestimate the desire of the people here for new, and hopefully better things. That's the blanket generality that keeps some businesses from locating here. They believe the same thing. One restaurant owner actually told me that he wouldn't offer a different cuisine, because he didn't think the people here would appreciate it. I hope Mr. Gyro brings a needed change from the ice cream, doughnuts, and chicken biscuits.

Besides the Fast Food Fare, all that ever seems to go is Chinese and Mexican, I'm really suprised the Greek/Italian place on Morganton Blvd has last this long...do we have more Mexican of Chinese restaurants, or is BBQ the #'s king? |
|
|
Judged: 1 I'm hoping this will change, and more variety will open up in the area. I would guess there's more Chinese restaurants, though I haven't counted. It's nice that we have Italian, Chinese, Mexican, Japanese as well as good ol' southern BBQ. The "Greek" food offered at Moginos isn't the real thing. I hear good things about the Italian food there however. I think we could keep diners in town (instead of Hickory and Boone) if we had more/quality variety. |

Ain't nothing wrong with meedos waitstaff or cooks remember its made fresh to order it does take time to cook it. Its not fastfood the new restaurant don't need waitresses u can help ur self And he did spend a lot of money remodeling, he doesn't open nasty places. There is nothing wrong with the cook there is all that matters he is the best. Everyone come And enjoy poor moginos hate it for ya

So when's it opening and if they aren't going to have waitresses, then is it going to be where you walk up and order like you do fast food? Couldn't be much of a menu if that's the case.

Well, Meedo's sounds fine, Mr. Gyro maybe, why do we use Baskin Robbins, we have a TCBY, and it's AMAZING! Whatever it will be, I hope it's good!
