This is now open went there 2 times the first week they opened. Now this is what we are talking about they know how to make good food and it has nothing to do with NC water. They know the true Italian, NY,NJ cooking. Great Prices and plenty of food well worth the money. Keep up the good work and now you need to open in Louisburg,NC a empty resturant is waiting for you on 401 Bicket Blvd.

I have eaten there twice. Tuesday and today. Food is very good. I got the Chicken Calzone both times. It is huge (enough for 2 meals) and the prices are good. The service, however, not so great. They are very slow, unprofessional, and unorganized. I think that the speed and the organization may end up coming in time, but the waitresses are very unprofessional, and I don't know that you can fix that. They do not have assigned sections, they just pick whoever comes in to serve, which would be ok, but no one ever knows who has been helped. I was probably asked 5 or 6 times each time I was there if I had been helped or if someone had gotten my order. They also have tables all over the room and cannot keep up with them. Overall, service is lousy, but food so far is great, and prices are decent. I do think they need to lower the lunch prices just a bit, even if they have to cut back on portions. This is Lenoir, after all. I will be going back, but I do hope they get the whole service issue straightened out in the next bit. Also, they do have the To-Go menus in now.

We just had lunch there. The service must've improved now, for we were well taken care of, even though it was lunch hour and they were very busy. I hope that indicates that they will do well here. My husband says he will definitely go back again.
My only disappointment was that they didn't have pork souvlaki,(only beef, lamb, or chicken) nor spanakopita, one of which I was hoping for. Maybe they'll go a little more for the Greek, since we already have an Italian restaurant. They would be smart to offer something we don't already have.
Also I don't mind paying those dinner prices if the atmosphere warranted it. It doesn't, so I'll stick to lunch for now.

This restaurant was a nice change to all the meat joints in this town, still the same ole Spicer's on the inside, but the food was fantastic....REAL Stromboli, Real Gyros, and so much more. We will definitely support, but will the rest of you folks??? See that is the problem, there are so many great places to eat in this town but the crappy citizens here would rather support Hky and beyond. Hope they stick around! The service is a hand full of local girls, which you folks should appreciate....you know bad grammar, bleached hair, and nosy....

Glad to see them in town! Hope they can stick around a long time and prove the building is not jinxed! Had lunch there last week...the Chicken Rosa Maria is FANTASTIC! The spaghetti was a little dry but we still enjoyed our meal. The service was somewhat lacking but they will get all the kinks out soon. We will definitely be back! Good luck to you guys!

...and I wasn't impressed. The "sauce" (and I call it sauce because "gravy" is what real Italians call "sauce" and the canned crap they are serving at Mogino's is barely sauce--and certainly not gravy by any means) is TASTELESS. Seriously. Grew up on excellent Italian food, made by REAL ITALIANS. This stuff is SLOP. Worse than Meedo's (and I didn't think ANYTHING could be worse than the junk Meedo's serves.) I had high hopes for this place because friends recommended it and had seen some positive comments posted here (but clearly the positive comments posted here were posted by "moles" for Mogino's. We ordered 4 different items (Eggplant, Meatball Sub, Spaghetti, Chicken Calzone) and shared them among the table--and ALL were drastically under seasoned. Eggplant tasted like it was cooked in under heated Mazola) Also, do they not know that fresh garlic, oregano, and basil are key elements to spice a dish? I couldn't find a HINT of any those flavors in any of the dishes we tried. Only the fries were edible. The fries were excellent. Crispy and hot. Everything else? A waste. And don't even get me started on the "decor". What a joke. Offensive to say the least.(Scarface posters? Not TOO stereotypical!) I give them 6 months if they don't learn how to properly season their food. Hopefully they will read this and turn it around. I so want to enjoy some decent food here in Lenoir. Unfortunately there is NOT ONE excellent restaurant in Lenoir. Not ONE. You have to go to Boone if you want to have a decent meal.(How sad that we have to take our money out of county to enjoy a meal!)
