I completely agree...my x wife got caught stealing from 3 different places of employment and now that she cant find a job im having to pay $900 a month in child support...she lives the high life in a brand new house and drives a brand new lexus yet she recieves food stamps and medicade. My kids are not being taken care of. Her house is absolutely nasty with filth, she doesnt wash clothes, and my kids stay sick constantly. I wish the court system would do something like this so i could see where my money was going to.

Child support is nothing more than a calculated % of loss of dual income for the primary custodial parent who makes less $$ so basically the father has to provided a living expense for the child for the days they do not have them, plus keep up the expenses when they do have them. The mother in most cases gets off w/out ever having to actually pay any expenses for the child.

It sucks.

yep it does when they state they dont have to work aand steal from the kids thats my problem so is it or can i say show me the recepits where the kids support goes cause they dont see it ITS STEALING FROM THE KIDS .....

so, is this calculation fair when it's the mother who is the absent parent and the father who has the child in the hom? because more and more often, that is the case now. And how to you figure that the primary custodian gets off without having to pay expenses for the child? When a child lives with you, you have expenses out the wazoo! especially when they are school aged and the non-custodial parent is not legally obligated to help with ANY of them and they usually don't.

Ok cccs does,suck and they let dead beat off after 3 yrs,i fianlly took my middle one daddy for cs I can show proof on everything I spend on just him cc let him go In after a year and drop cs after he is behind 4000 and catawba county has my daughyer dad paying 62 dollarz a month what does that buy dont even pay half for schooling or extract activitys they just do barw min.,for the parents that have the kids

You've got three kids by three different dads but yet you still fail to realize that you might just be part of the problem.
Not once not twice but at least three times you had unprotected sex and got pregnant by total losers and you bash the child support agency because they can't make the sorry assed men that you picked to father your children get off their asses and go to work. People like you are totally useless and a waste of good oxygen.

NC child support system is a joke. Whoever is receiving child support needs to be held accountable for how they spend the money...actually it should be a law of divorce that both parent have children 50/50 and be responsible for the children on their wk.

Child support goes for food ,keeping a place to live. clothes, helping with medicine, paying school lunches,.If a child is living with a parent then they are paying over 50% of their care.

I am sick of the child support place...my sons father has to pay 149.00 a month..he is behind on that...wow...he wanted me to let him sign over rights so that he doesnt have to pay the child support...i wish that is what it costs to take full and good care of a child...my children have everything they need...so if we get the money we do if not..we dont...it sucks...they need to do more....

well ive been paying child suppport for 13 years and mine just went up again....if i get 5 bucks behind theyre ready to lock me up....they always treat me like a dirrtbag when i go up there....i just want to take care of my kids but some women just try to punish their kids dad...i will never understand....

Yo d I c k all my baby daddys work and truth br told how I got pregent is none of ur bisiness and it aint like I use the money to live all the cs when I do get it goes in a saving account for the kids for college or first house it just makes me ill cause cs dont do there job to get it

Burke Co is no better....My kids father is almost $11,000 behind and they just took to court in may and it keeps getting continued. It sucks he keeps getting away with it, when I am still working and sacrificing everything to raise them on my own. This dead beat father is Pete Walser.

Fredrick allen hicks owes 600.00 child support,to a child who cant defend himself,caldwell county sheriffs office knows where hes at so whats the problem picking him up I believe if your man enough to have a child,you should take care of the child,i guess we know how to separate the men from the boys

For most custodial parents it hasn't become their intention or fault that they are having to receive child support. If the father walks out leaving the mother to provide for the child(Ren) that he helped create y bash the mother for seeking cs from a man who didn't want to fulfill his part of his responsibility. Same goes for a mother who walks out on her children and leaves them with their father he should have every right to seek cs. But a mother who leaves the father and takes the kids(depending partly) on her reason for leaving and vice versa say they r leaving just for spite toward other parent and to use kid(s) as ammunition they should not be allowed to seek child support put it as 50/50 when with either parent that parent pays for their exspenses with no outside help (dss cse)...etc. my husband of a few months has two sons one is 15 the other is 4 the 15 year old stays with us and has been with his dad since he was five on the day he got him the mother brought him to him and gave the excuse that he wanted to b closer to his half sister come on? At five he wanted to b with his sister? Who didn't even live with my husband she just didn't want the responsibility of taking care of him plain and simple the four year old he pays cs to weekly but never gets to see or take anywhere unless he goes to her house to b "babysat" with him just for spite. He was thrown out after 11 months of marriage BC he took him over to his grandmothers house to see her. How messed up is that?

I myself have been through the cs system I have four children all born during marriages one for three and a half years the other for 15 years. My first husband I left but he paid child support not by my enforcement but by child support. The second husband he left just BC he was tired of being a husband and father I pursued cs. There have been times that he has gotten behind even arrested but it didn't stop him from getting behind or finding jobs that didn't offer health, dental which in our insurance which in our cs agreement he was suppose to provide but didn't and cse wouldn't enforce it. Excuse I got was if his employer doesn't offer it at a trainable rate to not interfere with his living there was nothing they could do. Y not? It was put in the agreement signed by a judge. Go figure!
