Village Inn has the best pizza...
The better question would be which places to avoid, LOL. We don't exactly have a raging culinary scene.

I think that is terrible. Deanna's food was great. She did a ton of work there also. she must have had a lease that expired. i bet she is heartbroken

Bad news on Deli & Cream. Hate to hear it. Try The Bakery in uptown Lenoir. It's great!! Also, you can't beat Hannah's BBQ!!

I agree Birddog - Hannah's wins with BBQ, hands down!
And, yes, The Bakery, uptown Lenoir, is awesome! She makes the BEST chicken salad and her candies/cookies are to die for!
Also, Pancho Villa has my vote as best Mexican Food in Lenoir.

I second Pancho Villa for the best mexican. They are wonderful, and not too pricey either.
Hannah's BBQ is good - but I think that Hog Wild's (in Baton) is just a tad better. Too bad they only do take out and only a couple nights a week.

Also, Pancho Villa has my vote as best Mexican Food in Lenoir. For excellent chicken salad, try Buzzards in uptown Lenoir(the old Berkleys) or the Vintage Cafe in Hudson. Delicious!!!

The Sporter is moving to where the Deli n Cream was...and not the Deli wasnt sold from under them..I think someone involved in it had health issues.

tRYING TO FIND SOMEWHERE TO EAT IN LENOIR IS LIKE SWIMMING UPSTREAM WITHOUT A BOAT. I JUST DRIVE UP TO WOODLANDS AND EAT THE BEST FOOD IN THESE PART OF THE HILLS. THE BEST BBQ THAT IS. IF I WANT EXCELLENT FRIED CHICKEN, HAM BISCUITS, APPLES, AND FRIED POTATOES WITH VEGEBABLES I DRIVE TO SHATLEY SPRINGS. THE BEST STEAKS ARE FOUND IN ASHEVILLE AT THE TEXAS ROADHOUSE , THEIR HOMEMADE YEAST ROLLS ARE FANTASTIC . HOWEVER I RARELY EAT OUT AND MY WIFE IS THE BEST DARN COOK IN THE WHOLE WORLD.....
