No but seriously, just send me over to your rental house and I will tell them that I rented it and that I don't want any company. I'll stay in the house for about a month just to make sure they don't come back. I'll try to keep the electric bill under $200.

The law says a person has to contribute by either paying rent, buying food, paying a bill of some sort before they have any legal right to be there. If they do none of the above the law will remove them. If they do any of the above the law will tell you to get an eviction notice before they will act. If you asked them to stay but they do not contribute then you have the right to tell them to leave at anytime. This does not apply to any relationship based living arrangments, differant set of laws for that.

Misery,

You need to get the law involved ASAP. The squatter does not respect your views or opinions as evidenced by his action, or in your case, lack thereof.

Know this. He will likely claim he has permission from you and has paid cash to you. I have dealt with several cases like this. You may ultimately have to take out a detainer warrant on him if things do not go smoothly with law enforcement the first time.

It is also important for you to videotape the inside of the house in the company of a witness and with a date stamp (newspaper with the date on it, etc.).

You will get him out of your house in the end. It just may be a longer journey than you hoped.

If all else fails, just tell "Gimme Some Truth" that "The Truth" is living there. You will have the man out in no time.

Im wondering if I can put his clothes out on the porch or if he will try to say he has paid to stay and the law will be on his side. I am a female by the way. Lol

He may claim he has paid you for rent or upkeep but the officer should ask for proof from him, at least thats what I would have done if I were the responding officer. Dont put his things outside because I'am sure he will claim damage to his crap. The officer should allow him to get some things but if he has a lot he will tell the guy to get another officer to come back with him later to get the rest. If he doesnt come back in a resonable amount of time you need to check with a magistrate on the time amount as I forget but you can get ride of it then. If you live in the county and ccso comes out there is no telling what may happen as no two deputies opinion of the law is the same anymore, good luck with that and call the magistrate to be sure that the deputies info isnt BS.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Libra

It's one of those difficult days when anything can and will happen. Someone you were relying on might let you down, plans could be changed at the eleventh hour or a machine could go on the blink. To make matters worse, your energy levels are very erratic, so you feel full of beans one minute and ready to go to sleep the next. Don't make the situation worse by eating foods that give you a high followed by a slump.
