i really like hissy fitz, they have some great deals. its nice to know i can go there and not spend 50 dollars on a pair of hollister jeans. the bad part - I wish they would give you more cash for your clothes, i took in two pair of high dollar roxy jeans and they wanted to give me like 8 dollars for them both.. bs

She makes at least 60-70% profit off of everything she sells. I realize a business has to make a profit, but that is ridiculous. It's common knowledge that Caldwell County has one of the highest unemployment rates in the state. Most parents can't afford to buy the new name brands like they could in the past. This concept is great except for the fact that she is taking advantage by not wanting to pay a fair price for good clothes to re-sell. It's greed. She pays less than yard sale prices and doubles, triples, etc the selling price. If you have good stuff, post on facebook. It's a great way to sell or swap clothes. At least you will get what they are worth.

As for free advertising, just another way of getting something for nothing. But all advertising is not necessarily good advertising. Hope you are there to dry the tears and take a moment of silence when the doors close. Lol. Word of mouth can either help or hurt a business.

This place sucks they are so rude and mean. And as for the owner she does a lot of people shitty. Oh excuse me Jenny is not the only owner she has someone else over her that started the store. OOPS oh no... No one is suppose to know this. Well all I can say is that jenny is very dirty person and doesn't care about no one just her daughter and making that 3 hundred some dollar car payment. Jenny you need to look around and realize there's good people around so stop treating them like shit and don't be a coward.

Before there was so much said by her employees in support of this woman. I don't know her but I hope the Graggs don't lose the money. If this business is doing so well why didn't she get a bank loan. Maybe these people are family. Still it is not good business to borrow money from family or friends. Seems shady.

I won't comment on any of the drama on here as it has nothing to do with me. I have taken my daughter to the Hudson store once and she loved it. The prices seemed very reasonable to me considering what brands they were. As for the employees...It was no different than any other store. No one stared at us or anything like that. When we checked out the girl was very nice.

Or maybe she thinks you have money she can borrow.

Or maybe she thinks you have money she can borrow. I do not know the owner or anyone who works there for that matter. As stated in my original post I have only shopped there once as the store isn't really in my area ( St. Stephens area in Hickory ) My daughter had been told about the store from her cousin who lives in Lenoir and we went once to check it out. My daughter liked it and we had no problems. I was pleased with the prices as we normally do all of our shopping for her in the mall. I do wish there was a Hickory location and would shop there more often.

It's a teen consignment store to start with !! Which has great name brands that all the teens want. The times are hard so this store give those of us that love a great deal and a great name brand a chance to get our teens the items they want without us the parents going into the hole. I used to own my a store also and you might as while believe that you can't make every customer happy!!! Maybe a girl had a bad day haven't you ever had a bad day? If you had a problem with one of the girls call the store and ask to speck to the owner and handle it that way. Is that not the way you would if it was at Aeropostale or Hollister? I go to Hollister alot and those kids in there sure ain't a bit friendly!! Just putting my two cents worth out there also!

i go into hissy fitz alot, they have great clothing and prices are reasonable. I also attend style exchange in hickory. I dont really have a favorite. I do somewhat agree with this emily talk. We are not friends, and i do feel "watched" by her when im shopping. I get respect and help while im in there but i dont think it should basically be ran by a bunch of unprofessional teenagers.

I was wondering if anyone knows anything about the Hissy Fitz located beside Dollar Tree in Morganton. The store has closed. I left a prom dress there. I did not receive a call or anything. It is a $200 dollar dress. If anyone has any info I would greatly appreciate it.

It's no surprise you didn't get a call when she closed the Morganton store. Call and ask about it. Hope you get the dress back.
