If you support gay marriage, then you may want to consider supporting polygamy as well. Opening the doors to gay marriage will also allow that door to be open for polygamist.

Marriage is between a man and woman .If love is love why not marry your dog or cat.WE are heading down a bad path with this crap.As the saying goes God made Adam and Eve NOT Adam and Steve.

As this issue becomes more heated, I believe it drives more people from Christianity than any other issue in our current time.

My reason is this: Many of us know and love people who are gay. We know they didn't make a choice, yet they are called terrible names and denied basic civil rights by "Christians." So many times the hate just oozes from those who are afraid somehow they are going to be affected. How does two consenting adults having a legally ordained marriage affect your marriage?? I don't get it.

So when Christians speak the language they do about homosexuality, those of us who see something different have a hard time reconciling the two points of view. It makes many of us question our Christian belief-- and trust me there are a lot of us out here.

Finally, marriage is not a religious arrangemnt. It is a legal contract. If we change the constitution of North Carolina so the religious majority can control the civil rights of a minority, we will all be sorry one day because next they will be in your bedroom.

Because as a female I chose to marry a man. My MAIN point is get a clue and NEVER say NEVER. Nowhere do I say I support gay marriage. Then again, I don't claim to be a bible thumper either and then walk out of a chruch, get angry and curse God.

What I do not understand,if your not gay or bi,why get so bent out of shape over someone's choice of who they love?
I think it is for God to judge,not us.
Work on the love lives you have and quit caring about who everyone else is sleeping with.
Just because it is not my belief does not give me the right to treat people less than human.

If this was about religion then THERE WOULD BE NO DIVORCE!! The bible says the only divorce is when there is adultry. And who made you God and gave you the right to judge others?

If God wants to cast down on Gay marriage then let him. But the Bible says "let not or the be judged"

I say LET THEM MARRY. What is it going to do to you anyway? It's a piece of paper. They are already living together so nothings going to change. Plus think of all the income and jobs generated for the weddings.

It's not like they are going to teach gay sex in school or something.
