AFTER READING ALL THESE OTHER BLOGS AND SEEING THE RESPONSES IT MAKES ME THINK ABOUT WHERE ALL THE PRIORITIES LAY. FROM THE TIME I WAS 6 ALL I HEARD WAS KIDS ARE THE FUTURE OF TOMMORROW, IT SEEMS WE HAVE LET OUR FUTURE FALL ALONG THE WAYSIDE.PEOPLE WAKE UP AND SEE THAT OUR SPORTS ARE FALLING WAY BEHIND COMPARED TO THE SURROUNDING AREAS.I KNOW SPORTS ARENT EVERYTHING BUT IT HELPS KEEP THEM OFF THE STREETS AND OUT OF TROUBLE SO PLEASE WAKE UP!!!!!!!!!

There is between 600 and 700 kids a year playing at the Eaton Ruritan ballpark (a few years ago it went to almost 900) and they take 0.00 tax dollars. Maybe it's in the way the parks are being run.

The leagues @l.c complex only got to play 8 games total due to rain outs and no make ups, the 14& under only had enough players to make up 1 team but you look around the surrounding areas and baseball is growing. The fields are terrible, theres no where to practice, I GUESS THE QUESTION NEEDS TO BE ASKED IS WHERE IS THE MONEY FROM TAX PAYERS AND FROM SIGN UP FEES REALLY GOING TO??? ARE WE OVERSTAFFED IN THE PARKS & REC. DEPT.?

You got it and you have no management. I know they have wasted a bunch of money on different things and can't afford to do anything. If you read different blogs and read the paper, you can see the waste. I see it every day.
