Construction worker killed in concrete accident

One of two construction workers who was buried by concrete during a construction accident in Lenoir City today has died, authorities have confirmed. The two men were working for a contractor who was building an expansion for the Lenoir City Utilities Board's sewage treatment plant on Nelson Street. The men were pouring concrete into a form for a 30-foot-plus wall when the form collapsed, burying them in concrete. Both men were gravely injured and were in critical condition when they were transported from the scene. One of the victims has died, but their names aren't being released because their next-of-kin haven't been notified.
