Mexicans-Obey our laws!

I don't know if any of you folks ever go fishing at Melton Hill Dam or Ft. Loudoun Dam, if not, I want to make everyone aware of a problem.

Who knows if these Hispanics are legal or not, that's not my point. They have no regard for our game and fish laws. I noticed a group in their sombreros below Ft. Loudoun one day, and they had kept every fish they caught, including some that didn't measure legal length. On top of that, they were keeping over their limit. One in particular had about 20 largemouth bass, all under the 15" size limit. The game warden's hands are tied, they're understaffed like many other state positions.

Several times I've seen these aliens fishing with Coke cans. They'll wind several yard of line around a Coke can, then tie on a bolt or nut for a sinker, bait their hook, throw it out and wait. If they see a game warden coming, they'll kick the can in the water and twiddle their thumbs, looking ignorant. I had the pleasure to jerk one of those Coke can rigs from their hand one day when I hooked their line.

I have the game warden's phone number and have dropped a dime more than once this year.

It is sad but you will never get these bunch of hoodlums to obey the law. They come to our country and live off our resources such as a free education, free food stamps, free medical, housing assistance, and even welfare. They are illegal, yet get all of these benefits while the rest of us pay for it and can barely make ends meet. They are very trashy dirty individuals and the majority of them are a bunch of crooks.

You can Thank Tellico Village for the Lenoir City influx of these criminals. They started the Catholic church with all their money and they spend a lot of time setting up programs to bring this trash to our community. They are responsible for almost 100% of the illegals in this area.

They will never leave. Why would they with all free bennies, which the rest of us can't get.

Yes, it's not only Lenoir City but in very rural areas, even in Wartburg, Oneida, Jamestown, etc.

This may not sound like a serious matter, but serious fishermen obey the TWRA laws and have worked for years to release fish into the water and obey creel limits. Twenty Mexicans a day on Ft. Loudoun keeping 20 illegal fish amounts to 400 a day. It hurts.

What would happen if one of us white trash went to Mexico and broke their laws, huh?

I been to Mexico a lot for work and pleasure. When you see how they live you can't really blame them. It is OUR Laws that protects them. My wife was hit by a mexcian woman who of course had no insurance, license and a baby in the car in the floor. Nothing was done about it. She was let go. It is too hard for our local law to do much about what laws they break. Besides that if the TWRA were to try and catch them. They would give up to. I have lived in Lenoir City all my life. never thought I would see this happen. And yes it was the catholic church that helped bring the illegals here in the frist place. I really don't know what we can do about this problem. Major drugs are on the rise and it is white trash that is buying them. Another thing, Lenoir City is hooked on Mexican Food.

I hope they don't have a Cancun's in Lenoir City? A friend of mine's wife was visiting some Mexicans in a slum section of Oak Ridge. They had no air conditioner or fan, all windows were open, flies were blowing everything, and beat it all, the lady of the house was cooking a huge amount of burritos and chalupas. My friend's wife asked why she was cooking so many, she said she was selling them to Cancun's. This food was loaded with fly droppings. My advice, don't eat at Cancun's. A friend of mine who's a cop in Harriman had to investigate Cancun's next to the Interstate about a fire. She said the kitchen would gag a maggot.

You can blame many of these construction contractors for the illegals. They come here for the work. If you contract for drywall, roofing, masonry, etc, you'll see 1 or 2 white guys and a dozen or so illegals working as laborers. I've talked to some of these contractors about why they employ them and it's basic greed. They pay these guys less than a legal worker, they don't pay worker's comp or taxes on them, so it's more money they can pocket.

Do your part and refuse to employ any one that employs illegals. The high cost of cheap labor is you end up having to pay someone to come fix what they didn't do right in the first place. I've seen the quality of work they do, and usually it requires someone SKILLED to come in and fix it. So you pay for the job once and then have to pay a second time to have the original work redone properly.

It's one thing to see a woman with 3 kids paying for groceries in food stamps, but when they leave the store and get in their 08 Cadillac Escalade it's enough to make ya upset. Especially when your born here, you work hard for what you've got, and then see these people making less than you driving brand new fancy vehicles all because they live 4-5 families in a single family dwelling while drawing food stamps and other government handouts.

I also wonder about the ones raising chickens in town. I thought livestock animals weren't allowed in city limits. Or why we don't enforce some of our single-family residence laws. At least with the construction market decline many have left this area. Which should help reduce Loudon Counties teen pregnancy rate (which wasn't high before the illegals came to town).

Yes, there's two different contracters who live on my street who hire illegals. Matter of fact, one of them's business partner got into trouble a couple of years ago when he smuggled gobs of cocaine and marihuana from Mexico here using illegal help. He had a false bottom in the bed of his pickup truck, and bought fighting cocks in Mexico, brought them back here to fight and breed. He bought his way out of this mess somehow, but I hear it cost him $2 million to get out. It was hush-hushed. One of my neighbors had a bunch of garden produce stolen, he's sure it was these Mexicans who the boss had furnished them a camper to stay in. The dead giveway was they stole a bunch of jalapeno peppers, remember last year when there was a big scare on jalapenos being contaminated? They wanted the real thing.

Another thing that irks me is I was in the Los Primos restaurant in Harriman about a year ago, and saw some young Mexican trash misbehaving--ogling young teenage girls and talking to themselves in Spanish. I happened to be at this dive because of a friend's family reunion. I didn't eat anything, but did order a couple shots of tequila!! I don't trust their cooking.

I hate when someone says that the illegals are just taking the jobs no one else wants. It's not true. Before the illegals had the job, some legal person had it. The mushroom plant in Loudon was in business for a long time before they started employing illegals. So obviously someone wanted the job and odds are someone lost their job to an illegal. Same with the construction trades. I've known many white guys from this area who have lost work/jobs to illegals. Sure the pay is better here than in Mexico, sure America is a better place, and I don't doubt that they want to be here. But go the legal route. You want citizenship? Join the military. They need people, they have a fast track program for illegals to get their citizenship, so it's one of the best routes for both a steady job, and citizenship. Oh but wait, for many illegals the military is too dangerous or strict for you. Whanna be an American, prove it and serve like many of us Americans have done.

I agree with jesusjulio sanchezgarcia it is hard to find American workers in this area that will work these days.
We do not any employee any Mexican people at this time. I have thought about it when my guys lay out of work and loose thier driving license. I grew up in Lenoir City cutting grass at 12 and doing what I could to make money. I have learned that the Mexican people are not much differnt. As for the Mushroom Plant. They started hiring Mexican's when they had people start laying out of work. This is a hard area. We all need to eat and we all want things. The big problem is when the Mexican people ( as we are seeing now) Learn the SYSTEM and our taxes pay them not to work!
