This is horrible. I never heard if the victim dated this scum or what was their relationship?
too bad she didnt tell anyone...its too late when you realize that its for real....
I'm so sorry to hear about your friend. What was her relationship with this man? Was he stalking her? |
Honestly I dont know the relationship between them. I never heard her mention him before. I just know they met through mutual friends. I dont know why he did this or what his motivation was. She was the nicest person you would ever meet. It just doesnt make sense. Its a tragedy. Pray for her family.

This is horrible. And to think she was already afraid for her life, how scary that must have been!!! I feel so sorry for this girl's family and may this killer get what he deserves!! Daugherty family,my heart and prayers go out to you.
How do you know she didn't? Hate to break the news but a piece of paper (aka restraining order) doesn't stop a killer. It just saddens me to think of how scared this girl must have been and to die the way she did. Put me on the jury!!! |
I will certainly pray for her family and her friends as well. I do hope she had a personal relationship with Christ! Knowing where she is should make this horrible situation a little easier to bear. |
with the act that he committed, it's going to be hard for his attorney to plea it down from anything but 1st. degree murder.
and with the revalations in her diary.... he's toast. |
so you knew she had a restraining order on him right? you said it. or you just acting like you know somthing? she didnt make a big deal of it and now she's dead...never doubt your safety.....never |
A diary with words written about the victim's concern for her safety. I wonder if she told anyone else? A friend, relative, coworker about her concerns?
People really need to listen to their instincts more and tell someone of their fears and hunches...they are real! |
I am so very sorry for the loss of your friend. I hope he gets what he deserves. God bless you. |

"In that case, which is now pending before the Knox County Grand Jury, Johnson is alleged to have knocked a male student out with a blow to the face, then crouched over him and struck him several more times.
The victim "suffered a broken jaw and other injuries requiring reconstructive surgery," according to the warrant in that case." Why was he out of jail? If he had been held without bail for such a brutal crime, she would still be alive. I don't know how judges sleep at night letting these violent offenders out to commit more crimes. We are wasting our jail cells on non-violent criminals like prostitutes, weed smokers, even most small time drug dealers etc. We need to build more jails, but in the meantime, put the violent criminals in jail for everyone's safety, even if you have to boot out a less threatening prisoner. Violence should not be rewarded with a second chance, most people are not going to become kinder while in jail or out. It should be very rare to let violent offenders out of jail ever! Most are repeat offenders and their violence esculates. My sympathies to the family and loved ones. He should not have been out of jail to commit this crime after the brutality of his last crime. |

This is heartbreaking...I watched the Chattanooga news last night and her old principal at Notre Dame high school in Chattanooga was talkin about how happy she always was and how everybody loved her and her smile! I would love to be on that jury for him. He will get what he deserves especially on his day to meet or Lord above. Carrie is now a gaurdian angel to watch over her family and friends. My prayers go out to all of you! God Bless! |

This young lady's passing is already widely-mourned by those who knew and loved her.
She was one of God's children... a living part of His most holy creation. The Lord God, maker of ALL flesh, is the ONR judge. AND He WILL judge !! ========== In the meantime, Lord God, please allow several of those who mourn a private visit with the accused to express their grief personally .... 20 minutes should be enough. God forgive my passions, my heated humanity that screams for justice !! Come Lord! Yea come soon !! |
