Judge it!Your posting sounds like the right thing to do. Unfortunately, the kids of today are extremely materialistic, need immediate self gratification and want everything for free without having to work for it or save up for it like we had to do. They don't want to go to school and many have no aspirations for continuing their education beyond high school. Many rely on their parents for continued allowance and many don't work as many hours as they could. They like to do just enough just to get by and nothing extra. Lately it's all about "hanging out", drinking, drugs, sex and going to the beach. It doesn't dawn on them to work and save for something they want. It's far easier to rob, steal, harrass and scare people to get what they want. Kids today aren't interested in mentors or after school clubs. It's very sad. If these kids don't get their act together, they're in for a rude future.More people need to get involved so we can reduce these violent crimes. Please find out how you can mentor kids, or donate to afterschool centers so they have more positive influences on their lives. Unfortunatey, too many people feel they have no choices in life and resort to crime.

It sounds like to me that this is a hate crime. The criminals knew what they were doing. There was no way out for Ms. Roh. They did not give her a chance to survive this incident.

I agree that some are like that. However, I believe that there are parents out there who want mentors for their kids but there aren't enough out there. The thing is to try and get them involved when they are young and show them they do have a safe place to go. I know it won't work for everyone but it's a lot better than not doing anything. We really can't afford to give up.

She was a super cool lady, very comical and seemed to enjoy making her customers laugh...at leaste me and my buddy who shopped there exclusively for our pro club ware.
It was sensless and brutal and extremely un-necessary!!!!!! It's going to be hard going to that store and not being able to socialize with her anymore. Her cheerful attitude was one of the main reasons why I shopped there. This is truely sad and she will be truely TRUELY MISSED!!!! |

It's also not racist to point out that a large majority of prisoners are also young latino men as well as white men! This crime and other crimes like this one hurts all race so stop bringing the race card to brutal crimes like this one because it DON'T MATTER! A life was taken regardless of the ethnicity of the executioner. |

Wow, he didn't need to kill her. It seemed to happen so fast. I don't believe the shooter was in his 20's, he seemed to be a teen to me. It wouldn't surprise me if the other guy was older and put him up to it. That poor lady, she was completely shocked from what I saw on the video. She didn't even get a chance to react. Terrible.

sometimes ordinary people do bad things. my thoughts go out to mrs. rohs family and the murders who obviously are lost and confused in this society. trying to find a place in society must not be easy for them and the same exact types of people accuse others of being stereotypical and racists...i wonder why?

No, your comments weren't racist, they were stupid. The point is not that the suspects were black, the point is that we as a society have no regard for life. It does not matter what race the killer was. It does not make it any less tragic. The black community is just as outraged by this event than anyone elso. I passed by this shop literally minutes after it happened. This was a disgusting act and by commenting on race, well it just takes away from the fact that an innocent woman lost her life. I am deeply saddened by this event. My heart is with the family. I wish we could offer more than just a $10,000 reward. |
