Violence suspect runs up bail

A Gardena domestic violence suspect who escaped from custody twice - including once while handcuffed - made his initial court appearance Thursday and was ordered held on eight times the normal bail.

1. limited or restricted.
2. unable to leave a place because of illness, imprisonment, etc.
