Alleged Lennox drug dealer shot dead

I guess the only unfortunate thing about this, is that our taxes will be paying his family millions of dollars because he was unarmed. In that situation everyone knows that you never reach for anything. What a idiot! Better safe than sorry, good work officer.

This is awful. This man was just trying to make a living selling meth. We should erect a large meth pipe statue in his honor.

Seems fairly simple, if a cop is walking toward you to contact you, don't "reach" for anything, up, down or inside your jacket. Just because the guy wasn't armed, doesn't mean the officers actions were inappropriate. In fact, they were outstanding. As one said, I would rather have a dead, unarmed drug dealer than a dead cop. And for StevenHawthorne, I guess you're one less we have to worry about servicing....don't call us, you're one of the ones we don't want to help! Maybe one day all those areas that used to be nice, will be nice yet again!

I'm a white 43 year old male. When I was pulled over by the police about 2 years ago, I put both hands on the steering wheel, at the top, knowing that I don't want the cop to get any ideas that he is threatened. "Yes, sir", "no, sir" were my communications. It still seems like this officer could have backed away from the car and given this guy instructions to get out of his car and get on the ground.
