It looks like this father didn't earn the right to have any of his children, How sad that women are still having children without commitment..........The children suffer and the adults think nothing of it..........I rest my case !

Mr. Freeman needs to get his head examined. He has children with a woman who is mentally unstable, and then cranks out two more from another woman. I just love how the word 'fiancee' is used sooo often these days, to justify incomplete, illigetimate relationships.

Some people just don't deserve to have children. This article is a perfect example of who shouldn't!

You'd be hard pressed to find a clearer example of anti-father bias in the system, and in the general population. Here a Commissioner assigns custody to a father and the caseworker actively conspired to circumvent the custody order. Compare this to the manhunt which just occurred back East to hunt down Rockefeller, who took his daughter. And the comments from the other posters all criticize the father, without acknowledging how much worse the mother must be to lose custody in the first place.

did you folks read the article? it's about a little boy missing that might be in danger. why are you looking to blame the father. the fact is none of you would adopt this kid, so what's wrong with him expressing concern over a legal ruling to get his son back. boy, i'm amazed at the things people view as important.

The real question is why do we let these people run the world? Don't think that this is an isolated unusual case, it's close to normal bureaucratic behavior.

exactly. everyone bashing the father should be ashamed of themselves. no mention about how the mother just ran off with the child, flaunting the law, but o no the father's the evil one!!

for the first poster:

What the hell does a wedding ring have to do with parenting success? Loser people don't get married you're telling me? Funny.

A wedding ring gives the wife and her family confirmation that the baby wasn't an accident. It's more for the judgemental family members than anything, like a press release.

Bubbles who are you to pass judgement?

Hollywood has the same family structure issues as Inglewood, and they have money! So if it isn't about race nor money it comes down to the people themselves, the "in between the ears" part.

Not class or color, you ignorant wretch.

Then the name attack, Apple and Brooklyn are so distinguished, huh?

How did he not earn the right to have any of his children? He was awarded custody...twice!! Maybe you should spend some more time with your children and not be up on the boards ALL day long commenting on things when you don't read the article correctly.

This young man should be commended for his actions. There are many fathers out there who would have just given up. This young father took the appropiate actions, fought and gain full custody of his son. For a District Attorney Investigator, Tanya Newton to disregard and totally ignore the court's order...and become friend with mother, that is ridiculous. Sounds like this D.A Investigator is taking this case personal. People should be concern that we have sworn government officals, such as, Ms. Newton blatantly disobeying court orders, she need to be fired!

What's up with the kid's name? Parents who give their kid a name like this one must either think it's funny, or that an important sounding name will make the kid important? Who knows ... either way, it just sounds lame.

Commend Mr. Freeman? While it is good he took the proper legal steps to seek custody of his son, his other actions are certainly the opposite of commendable (to quote the article):

"He said he dated Rogers on and off for a couple of years, but it was never too serious - even when they tried living together following their son's birth. " Is is not a 'serious' relationship when you have a child?

"Freeman is now engaged and has two more sons with his fiancee." Again, multiple children without being serious enough to marry the mother.

These are not commendable actions for Mr. Freeman (nor for any others with similar relationships).

Boy oh boy people...nothing like being completely mean-spirited and judgmental! Although I absolutely agree that it's always better for children to have married parents, well, it just doesn't always work that way. This is a father who loves his child and is going the extra lengths to take care of him. Good for him. I hope the little boy is ok, regardless of whether you like his name, he is just a baby boy. Good thing you posters are so perfect and have no one in your families who have ever screwed up. How nice for you.
