Report: Drew Peterson's Friends Wore Wire

What in God's name does it take to at the very least get these children out of that house??? Today on Ashley's blog, she posted a conversation where Peterson admits to being involved in webcame sex while his 13 year old son is sitting there!!What is wrong with justice in Illinois??? Is it really that corrupt? Is EVERYONE really that evil up there? I am just sickened by the injustice.

Drew Peterson likes to talk an awful lot — especially for a guy whose third wife was murdered and fourth wife is missing.

And now two of his closest friends say they caught it all, cooperating with State Police by wearing a wire and recording seven months of intimate conversations with the former Bolingbrook cop.

“We got him,” said Len Wawczak.

Peterson mocked investigators as “idiots,” called his third wife “a bitch” whose body he should have had cremated and predicted he’d be tried and acquitted long before his fourth wife’s remains were found, Wawczak said.

Wawczak, 42, said he and his wife, Paula Stark, 38, have known Peterson for about 16 years, a friendship that began over drinks at a Bolingbrook watering hole , included talk of going into business together flipping homes and became so close that Peterson trusted the couple to watch his children.

But a few weeks after Stacy Peterson disappeared last year, the couple began to have suspicions about their longtime friend. Partly because of a tragedy in his own past, Wawczak said he had no reservations about turning informant for the police, but his wife was afraid.

Early in their friendship, Wawczak says he heard Peterson complaining about his third wife, Kathleen Savio.

In 2004, about 12 years into Wawczak’s friendship with Peterson, Savio was found dead in a waterless bathtub, and State Police determined she was the victim of an accidental drowning.

Stark said at the time Peterson mocked the cops investigating the drowning, saying,“‘She was in a dry bathtub, what a bunch of f------ idiots.’”

Then, Peterson’s fourth wife, Stacy, vanished in October, sparking officials to exhume Savio’s body and declare her death a homicide.

Wawczak recalled Peterson telling them,“‘I should have had that bitch cremated. It would have cost me less and I wouldn’t be going through this trouble.’”

Peterson has been named a suspect in Stacy Peterson’s disappearance, which police have labeled a “potential homicide.” Peterson has publicly said he had nothing to do with the fate of either of his wives.

If you remember Will County does not have the best records when it comes to arresting people and gaining a conviction (remember the Fox case).

I also do not know what to think about it and I would like to read a reaction from the ISP if this story is true.

I also feel very worried about these kids, not only because of the possible chatsessions of Drew, but also because the growing pressure on Drew could bring them in danger in my opinion.

The difficulty will be, that LE/ISP have to do it the right way .. both the moment of arresting Drew and/or taking away the children from him to bring them in safety.
One mistake and .. like the story tells .. he will walk free forever.
So better let them do it right .....
And I think they ARE doing it right, but I really cross my fingers that everyone around Drew will stay save ...

And of course. besides the (Wire information his friends got on him) and what with "hearsay possibly being allowed in"...what advice

I heard Brodsky on this morning's news stating that this couple is just trying to make money off this story. He stated that they tried to get money off of Drew about a month ago, since they are about to lose their home, due to financial reasons. Drew allegedly stated that he did not lend them the money, since they had no way to pay him back because neither had jobs.

I'm pretty sure that he said most of the things stated in the article, but I still didn't see a confession, nor any other admission of guilt. It does uncover the fact that he's an even BIGGER jerk than ever imagined. Looks like "NO WOMAN" is safe around this guy. He even wants to steal his best friend's wife.....and, it was probably around the same time he was chatting it up with this Ashley chick; and possibly even, when he was picking up tanning salon girls in the middle of the night!!

I feel sorry for the kids, who are going to have to hear how Drew stated he should of had the "b!tch creamated", so he wouldn't have these problems.

REPLY: I do agree with you PM on the above. Those friends of his may be in financial need, and perhaps even looking for their 15 minutes of fame to make some money. What I am also thinking is, there proabably is a lot more information on the tapes that the LE cannot let out. If I were really a betting person, I would say that..Drew is going to end up being charged with Murder much sooner than later. The more I read about those kids in that house with him, and what the older one's are exposed too..makes me sick. I do feel the clock is winding down for Drew. I think what we heard is just tidbits of the tape in what is yet to come. JMO Brodsky can verbally sully these people all he wants, but if that tape is allowed into evidence and there is some real heavy duty stuff on that tape, Drew is Done. JMO

Can't wait to hear that he has been arrested and charged. Justice will be done, it isjust taking longer than we all wanted it to.

Well, saw it and he didn't really say too much, other than say to talk to his attorney. He spoke from behind the door, as he stated that he was 'naked'. How many people are walking naked around their homes with small children around? Fine, you don't want to talk, then, don't answer the door, but surely don't tell the world that you are "naked" behind it.
