Did former Jim Thorpe Council save tax payers money?

Just read in the paper about an other costly mess the form council boys may have cost us with the street lights.. One mess after another, with the list growing. These guys did all this to save the taxpayers money.Right!!! Bet the Borough manager was on top of this one too!! Glad they did not run my house hold finances. Those guys could not run a fruit stand!!! Glad some of them decided not to run again. To McGuire! go to OZ and get a BRAIN!!! Yaich needs to go for another match book degree and Sheckler Well!! he is what he is!!! Wish the new council the best of LUCK !! They sure as hell need it!!

Do your homework. First of all, that contract was in place before they hired that manager. I think that manager needs to go, he's awful, but fair is fair, can't hang that one on him. The vote on the streetlights was unanimous, so I'm also sad to report that you have to point the finger at your heros, including son of Strublewacko and the creepy Kreb who came before the new Kreb (the current Mayor's asskissing relations, that is). Lastly, at present, there isn't any evidence of wrongdoing on the Borough contract, please enlighten us with your facts that support that this Borough got ripped off, haven't seen anything yet. Who said the manager did this ? You did. I ask if he is on top of this.Lots of taxpayers borrowed money on this project.Remember you said he has to go not me.Do not care what the vote was I ask if it was costly. Will Jim Thorpe council seek to recoup the $200,000 Plus money it lost on the so called street lamp deal?

I gotta corect you on stating it was a "Unanimous Vote" mind you! You better read the March 12th 2009 minuets of the Jim Thorpe Boro Council meeting. Todd "MASON" was "NOT" at that meeting,so he did "NOT" vote for the "MEM" project..Not only that,you better put on a pair of glass's when you read it,because "KREBS" was the only council member that voted against the project..You also can "NOT" take this matter out on the Boro Manager as he did "NOT" hold his postion at the time this was done.$200,000 is a far cry what the Boro of Jim Thorpe is going to lose..You got to add the interest on to the loan for many years to come..PP&L would never take those lights back even if the Boro would give them to them for nothing..Check it out,and see for yourself! This is just downright terrible beings good ol' Jim Thorpe is the county seat and seems to reap all of the tourism benefits. That town was always screwy from the police dept. shenanigans to the borough politics. Let's throw the bums out

Well,if you read the official minuets you would be able to learn whom was in charge..Mickey McQuire was the President along with his Mouseketeers Melber,and Yaich. It is not Rocket Science to figure out they only needed those 3 votes for the project to pass with one member of council absent,and one member voting no. My guess would be Melber was in charge.. I do know it was not Joe Micko..

A heck of a lot better then the past clowns!! Anyway lets see what the new council does. They where elected to clean the mess up! The Mayor and new chief are off to a good start.I know that statement will put some blood pressures up. But facts speak for them selfs. It will take time to straighten things out! I Am not a doctor, but the place does need a laxative.Just not sure if the sewer plant can handle all the relief in one Flush. Hey maybe pup will run,He will deliver.

After thursdays council meeting it's time to say good bye to the borough manager,Who might I add could not manage a FRUIT STAND. Sorry Wes the pat's you gave your self on the back are all in your mind. Looks like the Big Mac and Scheck Chickened out and did not want to face the public over the new and inproved sewer rates.Another Screw up that need to be addressed!Poor Trustin he need to go to.Glad he did not make State Rep. Push pup for his seat. The council men who could not address his garge issues also needs to take a hike.He should be real proud.Enjoyed the photo poster from the neighbors. On the Bright side the mayor and police Chief are moving the Deptment forward in a pos. way.Need a few more like them on council.
