Design Phase for Veterans-Wars Memorial Has Began.

We have began phase two in the design process of the Veteran's-Wars Memorial.

Thank for all your insight, design ideas and support.

A rendering should be post at www.FloridaDefenseForces.org , some time in the future.

And again thank you very much for all your support.

All who visit this website will be investigated by the Federal Government since they have been reported as a militia group.

I suggest everyone remain clear of this website.

As I mentioned elsewhere, even if Dept of HS cared about the FDF site, who cares? The only people worried about the government tracking their IP address are those with something to hide.

Out of Curiosity AnthonieBarrett, Who have you talked in the Lee County Parks Department concerning this "Veteran's-Wars Memorial" your militia is trying to erect? I really hope you are not wasting your time and the communities time and donated money if you have not received authorization to erect anything at Veterans Park. If you have received the go ahead to do this, I am all for it, but I do not want to be suckered into donating for a memorial for our veterans when the approval for it has not been received yet.

I think this is a legit question, don't you?

I think this is a legit question, don't you?

We have not asked for money, this is a private effort. If we needed money we would ask. But we do not need any money at this time. As for Parks and Recs, if we have it ready to go and it would cost them nothing what can they say. I f they say No then the public backlash will be fast and trouble. As it is P&R can not afford anymore bad press.

I do not see them accepting it just because it will cost the P&R department nothing for it. If that was the case then there would be all sorts of memorials, monuments etc... placed throughout the county, I myself would pay, out of my own pocket, for a monument dedicated to War Veterans if I knew the P&R department will automatically accept it since it is costing them nothing. I am sure they will consider it, but I am not so sure they will approve it based solely on the cost to the county.

On a side note, AnthonieBarrett, do you not see the problem some folks have with you and your mission to get a memorial installed for U.S. Vets? I mean, you have no problem with flying the Nazi Flag, that in itself is not anything bad, after all it is only a piece of cloth, it is what that flag represents that people have a problem with. To fly that Flag, then turn around and lead a charge to install a Veterans memorial in honor of our Vets kinda sends mixed messages, don't you think?

I am not bashing you at all for flying that flag, it is your right to fly whatever flag you want, and I know you do fly more then that one Flag.

One year you make the news in a negative way for flying that flag, now you are making the news in a positive way for wanting to install plaques to honor our vets. All I can say is good luck with this project of yours.

But I have do some very odd things in that past, but now I have focus, a goal and the means to do it. I hope the you shall keep track of the news. I feel that someone needs to step up, no one did so I did.
I truly enjoy all the hate that people post, it show me that I am doing the right thing. I so many of these keyboard jockey sit on their butt and do nothing, but when someone like me shows them up they get so mad.

It still has not been filed with the state of Florida. I called them yesterday. Later I spoke with his wife and she will not give him the money. She felt food and rent is more important than creating a milita Army.

I checked with Lee County Parks and Recs, and I was told Barrett was not given any approval for this memorial, and actually was asked to drop it. They said his phony organization was not recognized by any department in Lee County.
