What about the local small town police that will drive 100 mph in a 45 mph to catch a speeder? What if someone pulls out in front of them(the excessively speeding police) out of their driveway/side road and catastropy ensues?
Espcially when they arent trained in high speed driving. Yeah. Makes me wish one of these ill-trained assholes would hit me.

I am talkin not only SO but local police like hornbeck anacoco simpson etc...the elected police chiefs are what i am referring to that take "friends" and place them as "officers" and is a matter of time before untrained "officers" hurt or kill someone over trying to "catch" a simple speeder. Or just speeding around period.
I have had an anacoco "appointed" officer pass me outside of Rosepine and i had my cruise set on 65 in a 65 and he passed me like i was sitting still. Let me guess..there was a call in anacoco and he was hurrying back to respond to it. That explains why he was sitting on the side of the road running radar when we passed by a short time later.
Oh and also, get outta the fast/turning lane if you arent in your jurisdiction in your police car or POV offduty.

When police drive, they're playing with computers
When police drive, they're talking on the phone
When police drive, they're texting their next message

I was once pulled over by Newllano in Leesville city limits for speeding 10 over, many years ago. The officer was the now ousted Alex Castenada. I asked him how he could do that, and he told me that a lot of Vernon Parish police officers are also commissioned by the sheriff, and that I could be stopped by him even I was in Evans. Young, stupid me didn't know any better, so I didn't object. I was stopped at Morris tire, yet my ticket said i was clocked at stanton/171 N. He was on the median where Xtreme Machines is now. Now I know you can be pulled over outside the city for things that officer saw you do in the city, but the kicker is, that's where I pulled onto he highway. I sped up to beat the light at walmart. I say its impossible to get an old corolla to 55 mph between Stanton and the bridge where leesville city limits begin. The old chief of Newllano agreed, and my ticket was nixed. A smidgeon off topic, but I wanted to share my story about small town cops who live for catching speeders.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Capricorn

You feel like overindulging yourself in some way today, and why not? Throw caution to the wind and eat your way through a big bar of chocolate, or have a retail therapy session that leaves you reeling from the amount of money you've spent. There's a definite chance you could get carried away and tell a whopper of a story that has little resemblance to what really happened. What on earth has got into you?
