It will be an interesting circumstance, to say the least, if Hamilton is cleared of any wrongdoing. The process for determining that is underway. If he violated any rules or laws, he, as well as anyone else involved in this, should be held accountable and made to pay the appropriate price. But if he didn't do anything wrong, might it be fair to conclude that he is the victim of the usual types of shenanigans that some media organizations willingly engage in? Why couldn't this news have waited until after the election if there is a possibility that he is innocent of what he's been accused of? This is why many of us do not trust the media.
