Good, finally some justice is being served in Highland County.
Years ago, 1980 to be exact, Highland County officials hired and set Barrett's Mill Bridge on fire in order to proceed with their original plans to build the new brige on Rocky Fork Creek.
Their plans were haulted by the presevation act of 1966 and the Federal Goverment pulled all funding. The Land would have reverted back to the original owners that was purchased in 1973 and time was running out. I was asked to testify in the case brought before the court by current owner of Barrett's mill to discredit him based on his business dealings he had with my father in 1968 and 1969. I was ask this by the county commisioner and prosecuting attoney (Rocky Coss). Note I was 8 years old in 1968..they were desperate. I also was approched by another commissioner at the Rocky Fork Truck Stop and questioned. He stated he was affaid he was going to lose his house and the shirt off his back due to the lawsuit that was filed against them by Barrett's Mill owner. Needless to say they got away with it and it was all swept under the carpet. Such a shame, such an injustice.

For more information contact sogs and ask to read a book written called the life and death of Barrett's Mill and they can give you the contact needed to view this material.

Let us all work to stop injustices such as these.

Thanks for reading, Paul

Well think about this, suppose the crooks in highland county got away with trying to prosecute an innocent man who wouldn't do what the good ole boys wanted him to do.....this is an honest judge and a good man.....but not the people who went after him. Yes lets work together to stop injustices such as this....keep crooks from using the system to get what they want.

Rocky Coss is just as crooked as the rest of them. The proof is in the jail and prisons.

It's not often we get to see the corrupt factions of our governmnt and thier worker ants (COPS and Criminal Justice System) pay the price for one of thier few exposures of the inner corruption that gnaws at the heals of the ambivalent sheople in the world! Praise to GOD, let justice be done!

Amen...... Jeff Hoskins was not an evil person, but there are truly crooked law enforcement people in highland county.... YOU know who you are..When the sheriff goes to New Bern NC to get a known con man out of jail to use him to set up Judge hoskins, tell me where justice is in that... That con never served time in jail for his crimes, which were way worse than judge hoskins is being accused... in fact he is still out running the streets of this country conning more people . DAVID BLISS is a liar and a thief... thanks Ron Ward for letting him out of jail to wreak havoc on us all.....

Daily Horoscope for January 1

Capricorn

Happy New Year, Capricorn! I don't think the hair of the dog will help much this morning! If you're socialising again today, keep a rein on your expenses, as there could be a slight confusion in financial matters. Friends will be at your side and bail you out if there is a crisis. Use your strong internal discipline to accomplish your personal goals this year.
