Sorry you have everything wrong. I am not trying to sell books. I am trying to help people in need. I published this book during Katrina with my own money because I could not get anyone to accept my free help. They were all to busy spending money of the down town and the people were forgotten, and many still are. I quest is to help people not make money. I wish to discuss my plan with anyone that will take some action. If this is spam, maybe some of you should try to help as much as I have.

Like I said, send a check. I did. They can't get to the website. Not only don't they have computers, they don't have homes right now. Don't you understand that?

A check is good, but it normally looses 60% before it ever gets to the people. That is if it does.

I want to do much more then a check. I want to help all the people 100% in recovery and also preparation to prevent this happening again. My advise is free just for the asking, and if used may help much more then a check.

Clermont and Tavares weren't hit at all. The tornado cut a path about a quarter mile across Lady Lake. So just the areas directly around the storms path were affected. Clermont and Tavares were all clear!

You are correct fin. Or as is the case with my in-laws, they were dropped because their mobile home was "too old" to be covered.

I live in DeLand (Volusia County), but was not in the affected area. Most of us have not seen ALL of the damage because of limited access - which is for the safety and privacy of those whose homes were destroyed or badly damaged. What I have seen is enough to make me aware of how much STRONGER the winds were with this tornado than ALL of the hurricanes that blasted through here in 2004. It's just more selective in it's path of destruction. I know at least two of the people who lost their lives in Lake County. I'm for sirens and weather radios from now on...and lots of prayer!

I feel bad about tornadoes & hurricanes but that region is notorious for them. Why move there if you don't want to be caught in one? Hurricanes happen there every summer!

For any families that may be concerned about their loved ones... I know that the tornado did NOT hit Lake City, Florida... as, I have nieces living there... so, my sister called the police departmenet in Lake City... and, they said the news reports are wrong... that the storm hit 200 miles from them...
The news reports were not wrong, they said Lake County not Lake City. As it were, I have gone down to help with relief and the devastation is worse than any picture can capture.

I agree James. It doesn't matter where you live, there are always something that could affect you! I'm so sad to hear about Enterprise too. My aunt lived there when I was growing up, and I remember her and my Uncle taking my brother and I to foot ball games at the high school. So sad, but it appears the community is standing strong, just like those in the Lake County communities that were hit. God Bless them all!!

Just wondering how cleanup is going? Did FEMA trailers or temp housing make it to the area? We hear only good things about the help that arrived from FEMA but I am not very trusting of Bush's cronies at this point. I'm especially interested in the Paisley area as I know that a lot of homes in that area weren't insured. Premiums must be addressed as well as rising taxes. A lot of folks retired to Fl on limited income and are being squeezed by the luxury market. It used to be reasonable to live there (costwise). My heart goes out to all affected and I will be down there later in the month to volunteer in some way.

The clean up has gone extremely well, because everyone pitched in and just got it done. As far as the FEMA trailers, anyone that needed or wanted one had to sign up by March 2nd. Anyone that did sign should already have their trailer. My in-laws were offered one, but declined as they had already decided to move elsewhere.

I agree that insurance premiums need to be looked at, and controlled. Yes, there tends to be a lot of claims in Florida... but to be honest, natural disasters happen everywhere. That shouldn't be an excuse for insurance companies to charge us high rates.

We look forward to seeing you come down to help. Any help is greatly appreciated!=)
