Most veterinarians are listed with organizations that offer low cost certificates for any client wishing to purchase a low cost spay neuter. There are many veterinarians throughout the Birmingham and surrounding communities who will offer their services at low cost. The Alabama Spay Neuter clinic is not in the business of servicing the total wellness and medical care for the clients who use their facility. IF a surgery suffers complications associated with the surgery performed at one of the low cost spay and neuter facilities located in the state, the pet owner is required to find another veterinary office in order to receive potentially life saving medical care for that adoptive pet. How is this helping the pet or the pet owner? Also for the facility to perform such a large volume of surgery, the questions should be asked...of the actual attention given to each of the animals medical care in such facilities?
I personally would not want to have any surgery performed on myself where high volume and low cost would force the facility to cut corners for medical needs associated with that surgery. WOULD YOU?
