My water bill is up WAY over 20% already without any improvement in water supply. You think the canal could get built for that nominal increase in rate? Yeah, me neither.

30% of the population is unemployed . 30% of the population is on welfare. A % of the others are Government Employees. Just who is going to pay the bill and how. We all ready are seeing what will be run away inflation in the value of the dollar. 20million people have home equity loans that are paying interest only loans at bank market rate. If we see run away inflation many of those folks will lose their homes. Ift his happens that will a larger recession that we are in. Get ready folks the State of Ca. is going to help you out. Any place you want to go out side of Ca. With out the States help their is no way to recover.

I'm a government employee, "halkshaw", what does that have to do with paying 20% more on my water bill? Thanks to the 3x a month state-mandated furlough, my real income has dropped to the level it was in 1992. I pay taxes, the same as you. Don't blame government employees, we took on a job, the same as you.

Against this for sure. All we have to do it simply turn the pumps back on. About 25% of the pumps are off to protect the delta smelt. When will people wake up.

The State has to correct to recover that means they need to cut one third their accounts payable. You add 20% water you just cut down your ablity for people to spend money. Less taxes no money to pay Government employees. We need volunteers to run the State the people we pay can do it.

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Taurus

Friends and partners aren't behaving as you would like today. They're eager to go their own way, much to your annoyance. In order to get round this you're going to have to ask yourself some tricky questions, such as whether you're trying to control everyone's behavior or whether they're being inconsiderate in wanting to do their own thing. It's a Full Moon and a lunar eclipse, so maybe you should all release the tension by making it a super New Year's Eve celebration?
