On a regular basis arrest reports are provided to the local media.Miss Burketts was not provided to the media.why,is my question also.

I heard that she was not arrested. But, she was, in fact, transported to NCSO by deputies. HMM..

A deputy told me they are to deny knowledge of the arrest.

Leona Burkett is a local resident and waitress. So what makes her so special as to not have her arrest appear in the newspaper like every other felony arrest. She is in the proess of a divorce. And I am not sure of her affiliation with NCSO. Does anyone else know why this happened this way?????????

I have my facts straight except as to why all the secrecy surrounding her arrest. Does anyone out there know of any other person to have recieved this special treatment besides Leona.

This is kind of like how they didn't put a conclusion in the paper to the article about Luther Heith Pease and all his friends wanted for burglaries and robberies. I can tell you though that Luther Pease got 10 years in prison and he is in the same prison and unit as Sexual Predator David Eugene Mashburn (who is doing 18 years) who was charged with all that child porn possession.

There is nothing on the Nassau Clerk website about Leona Burkett's arrest. All there is is a dissolution of marriage:

Are you sure she was actually arrested or could it be a rumor?

Apparently it may be a cover up or the neglection of the court to put it online. Check at the public records department at the courthouse and see it they have anything on her. If they do, ask why her case is not available online.

The website that you posted is attorney or agency password protected... So how did you gain access to the website?? Are you Leona or Ferrell's attorney?? Just wondering...
