Leavenworth man charged with producing child porn

It is a really scary situation. My daughter goes to this school and had interaction with this monster. He really creeped my daughter out from the first day she went there. I do not believe this is a reflection on the other teachers or the school. I do however wonder why no one ever suspected why this monster had a fixation on little girls. All the pictures hanging on his wall. Why did he go around while the kids were working and take random pictures of them? Why did he only hold little girl's hands while walkin through the school? Maybe all of us need to be more aware of what is going on around us and the people who are around our children. Like Mr Baker monsters come in all kinds of different people. Just because he was a librarian doesn't put him above being a monster. As parents and also as teachers we need to be more aware! I will not be pulling my daughter out of this school as I do have faith in the teachers and I know at this time Muncie school will be the most safe school and the teachers will be on high alert! There are some really great teachers and staff members in Muncie. Please teachers & staff members hold your head up and know that one staff member doesn't reflect on Muncie School as a whole! i live in a town where mr. baker used to teach. it was an elementary school also. tell me, did these hands belong to grade school girls? and were these photos of grade school kids or older?

He took the pictures supposedly "for the school yearbook" and that is what he said. The first time I met the guy was at a school event and I noticed that he was taking an awful lot of pics. of the s only. He also would hold hands with the s during the school's "walking time" outside and not just the little 1st graders, but like 4th/5th grade s. He definitely had his favorites and some of the s begged to get to be the next one to hold his hand.....ick!!! I always knew something was not right about this man. Never felt right about him.

The hands DID belong to grade school s not just the tiny ones, but 4th/5th graders!! Ick! He claimed to need to take all the pictures for "the school's yearbook." Yeah.....interesting. He was a weirdo and I never felt right about that guy from the moment I met him. He completely put himself in situations that he didn't need to be in as a teacher and male . Just goes to show that we need to be more aware and follow our intuitions about things like this! I just knew something like this would happen with him!

I have two sons and a daughter. My oldest son attended all 5 years at Muncie with Mr. Baker as librarian, and my daughter and youngest son are still students at Muncie.

I worked in the library on a few occasions. I did knowtice all of the pictures on the wall of girl students. I also saw the slide show of girl students (and a handful of boys) on his personal computer. One of which was of my daughter at the school talent show. I remember feeling an errie chill go up my spine. I dont know why i ignored these things. I am sickened that we put our trust in this man, and he decieved us all.

Looking back we can say "oh i knew he was wierd", or whatever, but the truth is he fooled us all. Kids loved him, and wanted to be around him. We teach our children to be warry of strangers, not teachers. We all need to realize the sad truth. Pedefiles are not monsters, they are WOVES in SHEEPS CLOTHS...They are charming and manipulative. They show kindness and attention to children in order to get what they want.

The answer to this problem is MORE PARENT INVOLVEMENT. We cant just be willing to drop our kids off and cross our fingers. We must be involved as much as possible and talk to our kids about the REAL world. There are bad people in the world. And sometimes they are family members, priests, and even teachers...

I am so shocked this has happened. I went to Muncie all 5 years and now at the Highschool. I never really thought this would happen at Muncie especially with Mr.Baker. I look back now and notice thing I have never noticed before. Like the holding hands but only with a couple girls..Always the same girls. I recently went to see Mr.Baker at Muncie during the time he was doing this 2005-2006. Had no idea he was doing any of this. so me and my friend walked in saw him gave him a hug started talking to him. I'M so hurt he would do this. But that just proves that you can trust NO ONE. And I was recently at the pool this summer and saw him along with his kids. I hope his kids and wife are keeping there head up.

I Was There. I Knew The Victim. We were Friend's. He had pictures on his walls. Slideshows on his computer. Me and a couple of Other Kids Thought it Was Strange... We Wouldnt talk to Him... If Someone went out with one of the girls, he would tell us to stop or get Detention... We never listened... F*ck Mr. Baker, I Hope He Rots in Hell...
