I agree with the Governor's statement; many have forgotten what the 10th Amendment to the Constitution has to say in giving state's their right to the things not mandated to the federal government! We have the innovative minds in Texas to bring the new technologies forward to provide for Texan's what we can build to help our citizenry. "LET TEXAN'S HELP TEXAN'S!!!!

The only ones who benefit from Cap and Con are the snake oil, sleaze merchants like Al Gore. No credible science backs up the global warming hoax.

I don't like Perry either, but do you have any proof of your statements or are you just blowing smoke out of your @$$?
Global Warming is phoney baloney just to get people to pay more money in taxes. Period end of story.
Everyone and their Grandmother knows that 1998 was the highest temperatures on Earth. Now what? More C02 yet it's cooler?
Come on, use common sense.
It's the big yellow sphere in the sky that warms or cools the Earth.
You don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure this out.
The sun's activity right now is very low, compared to 1998.

The polar bears aren't dying, they are multiplying.

You think by bankrupting the coal industry (which provides almost 50% of America's electricity) and replacing it with freaking windmills and solar panels is really going to be cost effective?
It costs more money to create electricity from these "quote" un quote renewable sources.
If this cap and trade goes through, all businesses, and homes will be affected in their pocket book, which will lead to more unemployment.
But, that's what Obama is trying to do. Bankrupt the country so we accept socialism much easier.

Welcome to the liberal leftwing Obamanation!!!!!!

The only reason gov. Perry is against cap and trade is because his crony oil and electric monopolies here in Texas, tell him to be!
Perry stands to lose these lobbyists and the millions they contribute to him!
Make these businesses that have destroyed our atmosphere accountable and force them to help make things right again for having raped our earth!

I'm sure it couldn't be because real science doesn't support this global warming hoax or that its proven that Cap and Con and its carbon tax BS is just a backdoor effort by snake oil salesmen like Al Gore and GE to prop up their bank accounts by fleecing the public. Do you have a clue about anything that falls out your piehole or do you just like seeing your ignorance in print?

All you supply side pro industry robbers are blowing something out of your own@@@. Keep your filth to yourself and don't light a match with all that refining going on.

Those industries get millions of dollars in subsidies, tax breaks, permit tweeks and Texas is the highest for toxic air. You've been breathing in sulfur too long! They aren't responsible.

Get real.

Bloggers really are one dimensional low intelligence life forms.

You coal, oil socialized profiteer supporters are clueless and whining and protesting . Save your false accusations for the soap opera because that is where your drama belongs.
