Hello to the group, I have received a number of e-mails from people who are placing a lot of confidence is the use of a fire arm to protect themselves from a Home Invasion. I think this train of though may be misleading to people as it would appear that many are underestimating the true dangers involved in a home invasion.

  Please understand that I fully support the right to bare arms and the right to use those arms to defend yourself and family. However one must take into account the many other factors that come into place involving Home Invasions.

  What happens if home invaders show up when your at work and your wife and or children are home alone. What about a Females, the Elderly living alone, ect.ect. What about being in the middle of r.e.m. sleep when it happens. Also if you notice it is usually the husband that is the first one killed.

  I certainly do not mean to be offensive but I am kind of amazed at just how little people know about the methods home invaders use. They go into jail on some small charge and come out with a Phd in home invasion. Many of them are multiple home invasion authorities and they are very aware that they may run into fire arms.

  People who commit home invasions are not at all like traditional burglars. A home invader is like a cross between an armed robber and a psychopath. They are like a sub human breed who actually enjoy inflicting pain and death on people. In my opinion they are not even rehabilitate. You have to have a conscience to be rehabilitated.

  Home invasion is also greatly fuelled by the reality of modern technology ( ie: bank cards and credit cards.) This was told to me by one of the tv reporters who did a report on my Lock invention. Simply put if an armed robber(s) do a robbery on a convenience store they will probably get away with about $80, but buy doing a home invasion they have a lot more time to acquire valuables in the house and force the residence to hand over their bank and credit cards (with pin numbers) The average home invasion results in about $2200.

  Home invasions are here to stay and that's just a simple reality. I strongly advice people to open their minds a little more and to get as much education as possible regarding the methods used by home invaders. This simple search might help.

  I have added a link at the bottom of my website to a site called Home Invasion Hell. This site reports on the number of home invasion happening daily. When you go to the site scroll down and click (older entries) you will see multiple pages on home invasions "every day"
