welfare & Lonestar people with expensive cars

Damn how stupid can some people be to not notice and cut them off government assistance but then again it would be the children suffering not the adults.

Oh yeah! See the topic i started. Ive actually know about families who need the temporary assistance that cant get sufficient help as those who dont need it! Wiil someone please explain why those people are still able to manipulate the system without getting caught? Im so mad!!!! Wow that makes me angry, it chaps my hide. Next time i go to the store and see a person, mainly messy-kuns, swipe a lonestar card or take forever while they fiddle with their WIC coupons im gonna slap em in the face with with a tube of 80/20 ground meat!!!!

I wonder if they realize how stupid they look in cheap clothes with a dozen kids and in a fancy car who do they think they are fooling by pretending they have dough

In 1996 REPUBLICANS WON!!! The Welfare Reform Act placed a 5 year limit for LIFE for government assistance such as Welfare. If people have expensive cars, it's because they are using some kind of cash. Welfare rates were lowered to motivate them to get jobs. Chances are they sell drugs or something else. The government a Republican dominated Congress, and Bill Clinton changed it. Get with the times. Come on REPUBLICANS WON! It was their reform.

Republican are good but the only thing i don't like about republicans is that they want tax cuts for the rich that the only thing i don't agree with.

why are you guys so mad at poor mexicans using the system? why don't you get mad at all the ranchers that get millions in assistance from the government if all their crops don't come in?? they seem to be screwing you tax payers more than 200 in lonestar a month,,, that's why raza can't do better for themselves because 99 percent of us think like you guys always down on the little man when their to scared to try to take down the millionaires that are screwing them worse.

there is this girl who works at the drug rehab center named dora munoz got pregnant and had a baby by an inmate she used to be around in the prison in hondo.now is on lone star , wic, and medic aid but can afford to drive a $45,000 car. the ex con is gang related and a drug smuggler and is now recruiting kids in uvalde.now tell me that's not BS.

Hit the comment right on the nail. People getting food stamps be they mexican or anglo get investigated by human services very similar to an FBI investigation to obtain a measly 20.00 dollars of food stamps, which is called 'Public Welfare.' Mean while the biggest moochers, that is ranchers and farmers can suck the federal teat to the tune of millions of dollars and no checks them out. If Public Welfare is a feeding slop pan, it very kindly accomodates many pigs, and that includes farmers and ranchers not only in Uvalde county but the entire USA. Oink Oink lol lol, here piggie piggie.

I am slightly ashamed that I use lonestar. My wife and I applied and were truthful about everything and the government felt like we needed help. I run a small home-based business(which is slow right now) and my wife has a decent paying/steady job. We try to afford nice things when we can and we do appreciate the help from the government. Honestly, if we could earn more money we would, but right now we are stuck where we are and the little extra help comes in handy. We both went to college, but it didn't work out for neither of us. We try to save up money when we can to buy nice things such as nicer cars or clothes or home improvements. So just know, not every person with a decent car is scamming the system. I agree it does look odd, but you don't know every person's situation.
