How is it hypocritical to punish someone for their participation in a crime? Does time diminish guilt? Charles Manson is an emaciated old man; should we let him out of prison?
Perhaps if your grandfather had been attacked and killed by one of his dogs, you'd feel differently.
Wait a minute...
So between death or training dogs, which would you choose? You think if he refused he would've been allowed to leave?

All he did was train dogs, I'm not saying what the guy did was right but you have no idea what happened to him back then, whether he joined or was forced.

He was tryign to lead a normal life after all that and yet ppl condemn him and uproot him from his home. Thats the hypocrisy.

Its pathetic to see how people are nowadays

You have a point.

Anywhere, any time the word "Nazi" is part of the story, the subject will be sensitive. They, after all, established the modern guidelines for producing the "pathetic."

Prosecution of this man may well be patently unfair and overzealous, but I still can't call it hypocrisy.

The guy entered the country illegaly. He lied and like all illegals he is and should be deported. While he was convicted of lying on his visa and citizen application. The dog training and handling was the piece he lied about, he is suspected of other crimes (he was a SS officer) but because of time, things not asked on application, and no witnesses were available to testify. he was a trainer and handler in Daccau and claimed to know nothing.

He was more than likely more than just a dog trainer but that was all the feds needed to deport him.

He is not going to to be tried for any war crimes and will more than likely go to Canada or Germany.
