My child came home today with a note from the Day Care's owner stating that the daycare will be closing on Novemeber 24!!! That is only 2 weeks from today. We are at a loss! We have no idea what to do. We don't know anyone in Lawrenceburg, and just became comfortable with this daycare. Does anyone have any suggestions???? We are angry, confused, heartbroken, worried and dismayed!

The daycare is closing for good but it is for good reason from what I was told. My opinon this was the only good daycare in Lawrenceburg but my opinon is to look around for a good private sitter. If I come across any I will post them. Also talk to the teachers there I know some of them r going to watch some of the kids in their home. GOOD LUCK!

I wouldn't have any problem having one of the workers watch my child, however I don't really know any of them, other from there. I have no idea what their homes are like, who they have in and out of their homes daily or anything about their back ground. This is just a really difficult situation to be in when you don't know anyone in the area. This is (was) the best daycare in Lawrenceburg, and in my opinion, the others didn't meet my standards when I visited them. I don't know what to do!!!

There are after school programs at the schools that are good if that would help you.

I know a woman here in lawrenceburg that watches kids of all ages and is great with them. Non smoking environment and has references if you need them. Let me know if you would like her email address!!!

glt was the best daycare around. it is closing for good reasons. they girls there were wonderful. best thing to do would be to find a private sitter or ask the daycare workers if they recomend anyone.

Tanner Tingle is opening up a daycare. Tingles angels. Yall should try it out, i even heard he takes the kids out in the ferrai after naps.
