If the trashy crowd from shelbyville making all the noise would stay away they might stand a chance. those people are loud and rude and no respect.

Business is fine uhh? To what point? I hear shes closing up after New Yrs.

the owner beleives in peace and harmony. stop fightn and come and have a good time.and for those who want to fight can go on somewhere else.we could care less what your sexual prefrences are, those who judge, will be judged in the end... by us..lol merry christmas ya'll,,, oh and if you have a bar tab, please stop by and pay it..everyone is entitled to thier own opinion about captn cons. if you dont like it dont come. arnolds is open

After reading this my wife and I are going to make it a point to go back more often. The food is good, the people are friendly and the service is good. And the place is always clean. The owner is a hard working woman trying to make a living and providing a needed service.

It didn't take many stops before the barmaids had my beer on the bar by the time I got inside after parking my bike.

This is my first time looking at Lawrenceburg Topix and I find most of it rather disgusting, didn't realize there were such people in the area. Thought I had left such fools behind in the swamp.

I won't be back here but you can bet I'll be back to Capt. Cons.

I dont visit this site much,and it is disgusting.But too be honest with you it's main use is for people that do not have a life,are inconfident of themselves,jealous of others,or scared to say what they want to a certain person so they do it on this website.
I by the way have be to the Fish House a couple of times and the service and food was great.Will go back.

CapNCons is a great place to eat, and the owner is a wonderful person. Topix could be really useful if these backwoods motards didn't use it to show how dilbert they are. Oh well, that's Lawrenceburg for ya, Harrodsburg is the same, these people have no life.

I ate there twice as of late
Sat on family side w fireplace and have to say service and food were tops

I thought bar tabs are illegal....but i can understand the people who go in there cant pay theyre bums and thats probably why she will close soon

I really liked Captain Cons. The food, the atmosphere, the waitresses, especially the owner. She is one nice lady and very kind and outgoing. I have chosen not to go back because of the actions of a very few. The service became very lax and I didn't like the actions of some, giving the establishment a bad rep. I complained, as did some others, nothing was accomplished by my complaints. So instead of complaining, I have chosen to spend my money elsewhere. Yes, we spent $80.00 to $100.00 there every weekend, food and drink. Love Scott, the dj and miss his personality. He is one very nice young man. I wish the owner nothing but the best, she is a sweet lady. Good luck to her and to her establishment.

To those of you saying nice things we truly appreciate it. A lot has changed recently and for the better. We like to have fun and ensure that others have a good time as well. My mom has been in the restaurant business for thirty years and tries her best to satisfy everyone. If you come in and something is wrong with your food or service whatever it may be, please let us know so we can fix it. We all work very hard and are here to give you the best service possible. To those of you who don't like us...that Is fine. We thank you for giving us a try and wish you luck in other places you may visit. We are not closing by the way. And yes we are open Sundays! I have eaten at Captain Con's quite a lot and have never gotten sick. I think it is one of the best restaurants ever! Besides, they gave the BEST peanut butter pies!

I at at Capt'n Con's the other night. Got their all you can eat special....lots of fish brought with the initial serving. I couldn't eat it all. Didn't get sick. Food was good. The pie was made from scratch and delicious!
Will definitely eat there again...just won't get the all you can eat since a another plate offering will be more than enough....got to leave room for the dessert.
