Elk horn grill

Well, Kenny did write a song called "Big Star" - it might be about "Really". They hid the fact that "Really" is a guy (I think?!?) by singing about a girl making it.

You people are stooping to there level,let it go,you are making yourself look childish and ruining your image as well as the Elkhorn Grill.Plus trashing another business.Not a good way to drum up people to see your show.Oh well,damage already done.

BTW,Doug can sing.I just got to listen to his music on Facebook last night.Most people sound the same in every song,like Karaoke,his music is pretty damn good,every song sounds great.

For real, no, we are just having a bit of fun with "Really". You may have not came to one of our shows, but we like to throw a bit of humor in there. My wife personally does not care for the music next door, although I enjoy it while I am loading my equipment up. But my wife hates rock music anyway, so I don't expect her to like it.

Either way...if this offends you, I am sorry. We do have a sense of humor though, and "really" really did tell some funny jokes ;-) I mean, after all, I am a terrible singer and all according to him. But I am sure that telling a joke every once in a while and having a sense of humor does not degrade my music. Some people thrive on comedy in their career, so why can't we? Our fans all have a sense of humor too, and if they read his comments, it would make them laugh out loud. So, I am not worried about him.

But as I said, if it bothers you that much for us to joke around, I will quit for your sake.

Once again, thank you for your kind words. Trust me, my wife is a comedian and a half, so everything she was saying was with a smile. She has a very funny sense of humor, but she is a great person. We both like to have some fun at the shows!

"Really" you really are pathetic, sounds to me like you are a frequent patron of this establishment or perhaps somewhere close by. If Pinson is not to your liking as he appears to me to be very well liked by others....You can quit listening.

Ear plugs if you must(available at Wal-Mart), your only hurting yourself if his form of entertainment causes you as much stress as you let on.

If Dougie had any sense he would not be on Topix trying to promote his self instead he would use the Newspaper or the radio oh but I guess he is not that good that is why he is here.

Really, I don't really use Topix as my main source for promotion. As a matter of fact, it is the smallest of the sources I use. We use Reverbnation, Youtube, Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, etc as our main Internet resources, plus we create flyers and hand them out personally, spending time to talk to all of our fans. Trust me, Topix is the SMALLEST of the resources. The ONLY reason we even began to discuss on here at all was that we found Elkhorn Grill on here, and since we had begun a gig, it was an available resource to tell some people about what was going on in their town.

Thanks to Topix, we have found probably less than 10 people who have expressed interest in checking out the show. If 1 person comes and checks it out and likes it, they will tell their friends and make it a Friday night venue, either regularly or from time to time. Besides that, these people who are reading these forums are checking out my website at www.dougpinsonmusic.com and may come to another show as well. So even though Topix may be smaller advertising than our other methods, it is still a free resource to promote the show.

lets get off talking about this doug guy,who is spamming this thread, and get back to the matter at hand. Congrats on your talent show but elkhorn grill still sucks
