Student accused in 'horrific' attack

Another perfect example of a spoiled North Shore Brat. What a disgrace for Deerfield. They should leave him to rot in jail instead of having his rich daddy bail him out.

My question is, what types of parents are raising these cold, heartless, careless young men?

I believe this young man's sister was in my class at Deerfield High School back in the early 90s and I can say that she seemed like a kind, well-adjusted girl. I wouldn't go making assumptions about their parents based on his inexcusable actions.

The Jena six incident shows that people can be assaulted with no fear of retribution.

If I were living in the dad's neighborhood, I wouldn't feel safe with his son under 'house arrest'.

if America were truly a moral christian country with equal justice for all this post would not be necesary but at last we all know that we are living amongst hypocrites. Now i am going to drive to work now and hope that i don't get racially profiled.

America is NOT a Christian country nor has at ever been, nor will it ever be. Also morality has nothing at all with 'Christianity' or any other religion for that matter.

Why would house arrest even be a consideration for this beast????? He could've killed her!

I, for one, am eager to hear exactly how all of this is some big misunderstanding.

And what kind of "friend" actually goes along with something like this, acting as the driver? Hopefully this spoiled brat is ruined for life but people like him usually have parents who at least attempt to buy them out of bad situations. Hopefully in the end he will be locked up. He sounds like a spoiled rich kid, all his training in "grappling" won't help him much in there.

This happened to my daughter, got a order of protection which doesnt work for *****- Took the police two weeks to finally serve him and it was us that told them where he was at- leave home in jail, let him sit there and think about what he had done to this poor girl who will never be the same ever again because of his actions- Let him rot in jail where he belongs-
