Says "The former executive director of the Gardena Chamber of Commerce pleaded not guilty Friday to charges that she embezzled more than $41,000 from her employer.
Karen Sue Hale, 52, of Lawndale was arraigned before Torrance Superior Court Judge Alan Honeycutt on two counts of grand theft and four counts of forging another person's name.
Hale, who was released from jail on $141,000 bond the same day she was arrested, was ordered to return to court June 11."
SHE THOUGHT SHE WAS THE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE! Bet she doesn't serve a day. Politicians and Chamber of Commerce people are free to steel?
