WOW!!!! The only thing that's going to change is that now you'll have 5-0 voting as opposed to 3-2. The community must want this district to completely disintegrate; otherwise, they wouldn't have voted as such. Well, here they go again. Two more years of corruption.

Frank Talavera is easily the most hard-working and well-informed teacher and union member I know. His commitment to the schools and people of Centinela Valley will be sorely missed.

The people can't be fooled so easily and they knew who the better candidates were.
Congratulations to Rojas, Pizano and Molina.

Now is the time for everyone to come together and work to improve the district.

Sorry Calvin, but it's not all about the kids. If that were true the state would shut down this excuse for a school district and hand over the keys to the local elementary districts to take over the kids' education. Does anybody really think they could actually do a worse job? This is about an outdated institution (the unified high school district) that has outlived its usefulness and refuses to go quietly.

This just proves that all these negative comments came from one disgruntled Leuzinger teacher, that should have been fired by now.

The people have spoken and the best have won!

In fact, the voters were not fooled but rather tricked and lied to! Pizano is a crook who took "special interest money" for her own benefit, Rojas has been in court for hiring "children" to do his dirty work, and Molina is a pawn who will be manipulated into anything Jose Fernandez's corrupt and self serving needs are. Get real and attend the board meetings more often to get a clue! At least do that much.

You are ridiculous and must be one of the self serving thieves of the Fernandez/Ramos/Suarez buffoons! You sound like a child! I wonder if you act like this in public? Maybe at CV board meetings? I wouldn't doubt it.

Over 20 years of crisis, a sore of performing art center, and thieves and drunks for board members? The state will have to intervene on this one! Watch closely and see the corruption unfold. Fernandez/Ramos/Suarez are incompetent board members who spend their time working on memorabilia for Leuzinger, pouting their own wigs, and mindless policies like school uniforms! Why don't they spend their time on improving curriculum, professional training with School Board Association, learning Brown Act, California School laws and codes, and the simple Robert's Rules of Order. Suarez cannot conduct a decent board meeting. I have witnessed this circus. Now come witness your self.

The reality is that the voters feel this Board is doing a good job or they would have voted differently.

Although I still remain baffled at electing a person with a criminal record spanning almost 10 years to lead a School Board.

CV has lost two of the best and most qualified professionals in our community. The voters were mislead by the incorrect propaganda of Pizano, Molina, and Rojas. The Teacher's Union did not support them and they were not the Teacher's choice as posted. Corruption is alive and thriving and is being done at the cost of our children. Save yourself and your children because Leuzinger and Hawthorne High school will continue to have the lowest tests scores in the south bay and the highest drop out rates. A total and complete disgrace to our community is what we have at CV.

WOW, he must have excellent qualifications (tongue firmly in cheek). Do you know how much CVUSD pays the former Daily Breeze Sport’s Writer?

What a joke! The Best are not in place, rather the incompetent, cheating, and mindless followers of greed and destruction. Research the Daily Breeze for Rojas's past convictions and shameful conduct. This is your definition of the best?

If you give me his name, I can. By the way, these figures are from last October and since then Fernandez has come into the gold pot of money. ERP funds, CV Bonds, and Stimulus money, which was received before all of the teacher lay offs and still left the students of Leuzinger, Hawthorne and Lawndale destitute.

Several campuses - including San Pedro High, Narbonne High and Leuzinger High - showed large increases in their dropout rates over the previous year. Daily Breeze, 5/12/2009
Check the facts out for yourself.
Leuzinger is a "drop out factory".
Parents beware and stay informed.

Daily Horoscope for December 28

Aries

The prospect of travel really appeals to you today, especially if you don't have any holidays booked for the foreseeable future. So be careful if you're out shopping and you happen to walk past a travel agent's, because almost before you know it you could be sitting in there waving your credit card around and consulting your diary for the best day to take off for the wide blue yonder.
