It is ridiculus that after 5 years of calls to the police to this womans house, involving this same man, threats against her welbeing from him, stalking, and there is not enough to charge him! The police arent worth a damn!!!!!!!

This was a special woman. We went to Grambling State University together, and she was my suitemate for 3 years. Pain and rage don't begin to describe what I feel. How can this man, if you want to call him that, have 14 charges filed against him, and still be walking the streets? How can the police be called to her house 10 times in a month, and nothing be done?? There was nothing else she could have done to protect her self. I don't know all of the facts about this case. I don't know everything they police have done. But, what ever it was, it wasn't enough. They need to be held responsible for her death. As far as I'm concern, they are just as guilty as the coward that committed this act. She should not be gone. No one deserves to die like that. We lost touch over the years, but I have never forgotten her. The fact that I couldn't be there for her through all this will haunt me for the rest of my life. I honestly feel like I lost a piece of my soul. I have e-mailed the mayor of Dallas, and all of the City Council members. Something has got to be done. I won't rest until I see some action. I will not let my sister be forgotten. I will not let her murder be pushed to the side. The way this country treats victims of domestic violence is sickening. Things have got to change, before this world looses another angel.

Daily Horoscope for December 30

Cancer

Discussions and meetings go really well today because you're finding it easy to put your thoughts into words. You'll also show that you respect other people's viewpoints even if they don't coincide with your own. It's a good day for making domestic plans, and some of these will be quite ambitious without being unrealistic or far-fetched.
