Although I didn't attend the school that burned down, as a transplant to the Centreville community, I am deeply saddened by the loss of this beautiful building. Centreville has very few historical buildings and few aesthetically appealing buildings in that part of town. It is my hope that if the Board of Education plans to build a building at that site, they will build a building that will reflect both beauty and southern charm.

historical buildings in a town that lives in the past, yes the school was a loss and will be deeply missed, but for this town it is time to move ahead, we are behind the cities around us, we need jobs in this town, four points has to be the poorest of places i have ever seen, the county seat should be where all the business is, not where poor and unemployed live, its time to grow, time to put the scrapbook away, the people of this town deserve better then what they have here, our county behind the times, we still have a school buss for all whites only, its hush hush, but its there, open your eyes people, wake up!!!!!! look at the towns around centreville and tell where you think this poor town stands.....

As someone who attended this school, I'm very saddened. I now live outside Atlanta, and hate that the school will not be there when I come back to visit. So it isn't being rebuilt? Does anyone know?

i don't think they will rebuild the school, nothing left standing but the red bricks, and it was not going to be use as a school anymore.

Daily Horoscope for December 29

Aquarius

Be careful now, because you could easily give someone the wrong impression and not even know that you're doing it. This is most likely to happen if you're trying to pussy-foot around them or avoid offending them, because that's when things could get lost in translation. You also have a tendency to sit on the fence now, which could make you seem slightly untrustworthy or shifty if you aren't careful.
