I don't blame him either. He didn't have a violent record but is doing an awfull lot of time. Too bad he couldn't claim the race card, they are releasing black gang murderers in 1/2 that amount of time for numerous violent felonies. Oklahoma justice is a scary thing. you can kick in people's doors & hold families hostage with guns, shoot at them , beat them & show no remorse, do it again & again & they will release you in a few years. Pull a few stunts like this guy & end up doing tripple the time. Nice sytem

IMO all states should put in an express lane to the electric chair (just like Texas) specifically setup to control over crowding in our Prison's and Jails.

1ST in line - Child Molesters or Any Person who has committed an act causing pain, discomfort, or death to a child.( This will dissolve DHS as an organization because it will include all those idiots who are supposed to be in charge of protecting children they receive reports on or that are already in their custody) So two birds, one stone. GLORIOUS DAY!!!

2ND in line - Rapist, In Oklahoma we seem to have our fair share of priest, teachers and even law enforcement officers that have been convicted lately of this act so the system can start with them at the front of the line, they can aid 'St Peter' at the pearly gates in sorting them out or handing out Straight-2-**** passes.

3RD - Anyone who has attempted a murder, committed murder, or even fantasized about murdering another person. There are no excuses or rehabilitation for these types of people. If they can't make it past the 1ST Commandment, they will never get through all 10 of them. Line em up!!

4TH - I would put Wanna Be Gang Bangers here however I am certain that they have already committed or will be likely to commit one of the above crimes making the line too short, so we will put Drunk Drivers and Drug heads in this catagory with them to fill the void.

The remainder (if there is any) we ship off to live in Tent City where the accomodations they truly deserve will be found, or just let them all loose in the yard and whoever comes out LAST wins.

I agree with the first two. I DON'T BLAME HIM. He is a nonviolent offender who will spend the next twenty years in Prison??!! That seems crazy to me. Give him like 3 to 5 and let him go.

I agree w/ the first 2, but the fantasizing in the 3rd one I out on...big time. I've fantasized about killing someone, so not big on that one.

i think the prison system occasionally lets these guys out so that the communities get all scared and worried so BOP can ask for more federal funds to make the prisons more secure and the communities less afraid...

Agreed provided he doesn't have a past criminal history. He could have a AFC is why he got it so bad.

It was an easy conviction, thats why he got so much time. It made the judge and DA look good to lock someone up. The time given doesn't even figure in anywhere. That is the LEGAL system, and justice doesn't go anywhere, anytime, and in no county in this whole state. The man was desperate, and not given a fair sentence to fit his crime.

Actually Tom... That would be #6, right behind #5 for stupid ass people that respond to someone's 'stupid comments' showing a lack of their own intellect and inability to think of nothing better or creative enough to say on their own.

It's possible the sheriff and judge and DA were all up for re-election.

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Capricorn

A certain person is strong-willed with the Full Moon in your emotional house of others. It's a lunar eclipse too, so this could lead to some ructions in which everyone becomes firmly entrenched in their own opinions and refuses to acknowledge anyone else's point of view. Get the arguments out of the way early on, so you can then concentrate on having a really enjoyable New Year's Eve.
