Laurelville nurse found dead in her car was apparently shot

Authorities are investigating the death of a registered nurse whose body was found in her car, apparently shot, outside her home in Laurelville in Hocking County late Sunday.

I am so sorry to have heard of this tragic event. My heart goes out to all her family and friends. I worked with Cheri at Berger in the Step Down unit, and she will surely be missed by everyone.

My thoughts & prayers go out to all of the family & friends of Cheri. Not only have I worked with Cheri @ Berger, But I have also been a patient of hers. She was a very kind, caring, & loving person. She loved her job & her patients. She will be missed by everyone.

I spent 2 weeks in the Berger rehab unit with Cheri as my nurse. She was awesome. She pushed her patients to do their best and showed much compassion. My heart goes out to her friends, co- workers and family.

It's tragic to hear that such a loving, caring person could have something so horrible happen to them. I worked in Surgery with Cheri at Berger. She was well loved and will be missed greatly. Cheri was extremely compassionate. I know I will miss her and my thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends she left behind.

i worked with larry he was a very very nice guy he has had some very bad health problems .he was the kind of guy that help you when you need it but here
lately dealing with pain and his wife leaving and all the pressure of work and every day life could have been the what caused this to happen.

Larry's life didn't "cause" this to happen. He was abusive and violent to women and always has been. People might be surprised if they knew the "Larry" that his exes had to escape from.

I worked with Cherie at Berger and know her to be a wonderful caring person. She was an excellent nurse. Her grandchildren were the lights of her life. She spoke often of her son and daughter and daughter-in-law. She was always showing me something she had purchased for her grandchildren. My life has been enriched by having known Cherie.8596
