We have got to keep our community beautiful. Those that own rental property have got to hold a high standard for renters to keep the property clean. Also, the landlords are going to have to make repairs, paint, etc. So many people are moving out into the county. If Laurel folds, so will Jones County. PLEASE--Mayor and City Council. Develop firm criteria for this issue. We need your help.

The slum lords never gona let that happen. When you have the "officials" in your pocket, why should you.

Its too late for people you never have taken pride to get any now.

Got to love the slumlords. They buy one house on a block and make the rest worth next to nothing and pick up a bunch of those too. Court system should hold them accountable for making property values fall.

Asking a slumlords to do anything is farcical. It's like asking wall street to stop seeing how high they can run up energy cost this winter or next summer or food cost. They want your whole wallet plus some and slumlords will never open theirs.

1. It's a money thing.
2. See one.
