That's a joke. Didn't use to have liter in Ward 4. Something must have change. That Laurel School System is doing a fine job.
Sound like that hood has been ignored real well by it's residences and councilman for some time."Organizers reported collecting about 65 of the 30-gallon bags during the morning effort."
Yeah that's work so well in the past.“It’s educational for everyone involved,” the city councilman said.“If the young people help pick up the litter, then they will possibly not litter later on because they realize that it’s something that someone has to pick up.”
The Ward Four Neighborhood Association has been established for about four years.
Guess they didn't notice the trash for four years. Must be waiting for a Federal Grant to pick up trash in front of their homes.
Forget the Spanish. They aren't from here. This town is just a flophouse to them. You really think they want to keep their slumlords yard clean? Sure doesn't look like it."She said the group has been working to communicate with its residents through monthly meetings and literature, which is distributed in English and Spanish."
