Good attorney! I do not recite the pledge either, nor do I salute the flag. Why bother, given that the country is overrun by illegal immigrants, that public employee unions bribe our politicians, that activist judges overturn the vote of the people, and that racial and gender quotas are used instead of merit?

The only thing this country MIGHT do for me is pay back what I put into Social Security. Then again, maybe it won't.

If you are so unhappy here, try it in Iran or some other place, you'll be more than happy to come back if you are allowed to.

I don't see americans try to escape to other countries. We may have our faults, but we are still the greatest nation on earth. Go out and vote in November and let's try to improve things.

Its the law, attorneys must obey the law. And the Judge runs his/her courtroom the way he/she sees fit to a point. The Pledge of allegiance is the most important thing we must have as it is the last chance we get before outlawing that.

I do not salute the flag because of a Bible trained conscience but that does not mean I am unhappy here. I like this country and the freedoms we are supposed to have...like free speech, the exclusionary clause in the constitution of the US, freedom to worship as we please. We who do not salute the flag are admonished to heed the law and show respect for the superior authorities. I think the judge here needs to eat some roughage and 'purge' himself

I think the judge did right. Lawyers are ruining everything with their ridicoulous defenses.

It seems any national story about Mississippi seems to become racial. I'm in the same boat as mentul_autocrat and missed something.

The Pledge of Allegiance

I pledge Allegiance to the flag
of the United States of America
and to the Republic for which it stands,
one nation under God, indivisible,
with Liberty and Justice for all.

i love the "one nation under god" and people scream that this country wasn't founded on christian beliefs.

Daily Horoscope for May 25

Virgo

You have energy to burn today and it needs positive outlets, otherwise you'll be rather ratty and impatient. You want to work on activities that will show you in a good light, and you'll be annoyed if anyone objects to what you're doing or points out where you're going wrong. If you've been nursing a secret passion for someone, the frustration will really get to you.
