GloryFest considered a success

I hope it wasn't like Praise in the Park in Lucedale. Looked more like pigs had been there as paper and litter was everywhere. Not enough trashcans?

At our parks the fine citizens will have more trash two foot from the can than in it. At our Sports-Plex they will leave sport drinks and bottles of water on bleachers, grass, tables or in the road rather than placing it in a trash can or their car to be properly discarded later.

Once Laurel had a clean up day at Daphne Park with free hot dogs and cokes. Nothing got cleaned up and all those hot dog wrappers, napkins and coke cups were thrown down. Looked like a paper factory blew up.

A couple of times they had the "night out against crime." That's an excuse to go to Mason Park for free food and throw it down in front of the police. More like Night out to make a mess.
