Yes, I do, thank you. You and I differ on the death penalty itself, and we take different messages from the same report because of those different stances. I see a disregard for justice in that the death penalty is applied to only those who slay white people in their crimes. You see the same injustice, but our solutions are the opposite: I think the death penalty should be abolished and you think it should be more evenly applied.(I know I'm arrogantly telling you waht you think, so correct me if I'm wrong. I'm just trying to get clarity, here, and I do not mean to offend anyone). Either way, the frustration the guards may have felt because of the patent unfairness of its application does not mitigate what they apparently did. Does it? |

It's funny everyone can assume what happened..If a cop is dum enough to jump out of his vehicle and try to stop a stolen truck (MAN AGAINST TRUCK STUPID) it dont work that way, why do you assume that he purposely killed that cop? he jumped out in front of a moving vehicle..White was beaten to death by the PRINCE GEORGES COUNTY CORRECTIONAL OFFICERS The beatin was seen by other inmates in a different cell bock, The cell block that White was in H-5 is a lock down unit meaning you are on lock down 23 hours out of the day (EXPLAINE THAT)
If we go on the street and beat someone to death we will be in jail forever and they wont cause they have a BADGE and thats FUCKED UP.. No one will come forward to say they seen the COPS beating this bot to death beacause they know what will happen to them..That Jail is fucked up real bad they treat you like dirt and that is our system and it will never change, no one will stop the mistreatment in that place the news has been contacted the health department and many others and nothing has been done.. HOW MANY MORE HAVER TO DIE BEFOR IT STOPS?????????? |

I like a story with a happy ending. I hope that reggin was in a lot of pain and pleaded for his life. Good job who ever did it they deserve a bonus and if the family sues and gets millions who cares they'll spend it on a bunch of gaudy clothes jewelry cars and drugs and be back on welfare in 2 years 3 tops

I get the feeling that you don't believe anyone should be punished for anything. If someone is a victim of a violent crime, then its their stupid fault for being there, right? Typical liberal BS. No one is responsible for their actions! Maybe something has to happen to you or your family for you to really get it. |

I don't know from where you get your "feeling." Of course I believe that people should be held responsible for their actions. I just don't believe that the death penalty is an appropriate punishment. Nor do I believe that an imprisoned suspect should be punished without due process. I don't advocate murder. Do you? |
You should be writing for TV! |

The fact that so many people on here voice support for the murder(as confirmed by the coroner) of a man in state custody is truly disturbing.
Mr. White absolutely deserved to die for the crime he committed if in fact he was convicted, which he almost certainly would have been. He killed an officer of the state and our thoughts and attentions should be with his family. The disturbing thing is that the laws of this nation and the rights and basic protections afforded to its citizens(even the pieces of shit murderers, rapists and the treasonous) are what makes this nation the greatest in the world. Without our rule of law and constitution we are nothing. TO all those who say this is a good and acceptable thing I say maybe you should start looking at nations like Egypt, Saudi Arabia, or Russia to call home where these sorts of activities are more common and acceptable. To advocate and support the breaching of our most sacred protections is to shit on everything this country has stood for since its founding. Shame on you. |

Excellent post. Thank you. |

Q:How many correctional officers does it take to push an inmate down a flight of stairs?
A: None. He tripped. If you've worked inside, you get this joke. |

Unfortunately, the people who did this will be prosecuted, if found, and rightly so. I don't believe the revenge they took is the right thing to do. That said, I'm not sorry at all that the guy is gone. I only wish justice really worked that quickly when there is no doubt about guilt.

And if you care about living in a society governed by laws, you get this as a sad joke, or maybe not a joke at all. I'm glad the word "former" is in your ID. |
